Im always shocked when your videos are over. The time goes so fast. Im always like "NOOOO! I'm not ready for it to be over yet." This is why i wait until all the videos in a series is out. But knowing this series is almost a month long - I couldn't wait that long. Thank you so much for sharing. My life would be a lot more bleak without you guys and the happiness you spread. You have a positive impact in people's lives. When TH-cam's AdSense gets frustrating, when work interferes with fun things you want to do, or any one of a million things that can go wrong, does, keep in kind the very real positive aspect you have in people's lives. Hopefully that will make it worth it, because TH-cam certainly doesn't.
When you can’t walk standing straight up on a trail, but have to bend down to stop from hitting branches - It’s time to turn around… Loved hiking with y’all though! Thank you for your videos 😊
We've had the most abnormally beautiful clear weather this entire cruise! We're in Juneau today (in real time) and it's the first real rain that we've experienced. Hope we didn't suck up all the sunshine and you can have some on your cruise as well!! :P
Uggh the left fork is the less traveled and more bugged route...I guess the 'better views' are for better views of the mosquitoes? All bugging aside, Alaska has certainly made its way to the top of my bucket list!!
❤ always enjoy your series even with you both getting lost and taking the wrong fork in the road. The scenic was simply beautiful. I am planning to visit Alaska in the future. Thank u for your Alaska series.
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. And you should always carry mosquito repellent with you. There’s a little bands we got in Amazon shame shame.🛳️💖⚓️🫶🏼
It is hot down here in the south (America), and I am over it. 🥵 I leave in September for a Canadian cruise, and it cannot come fast enough. Next year, I think I’ll go on an Alaskan cruise for 28 days, in July. 😅
Have you ever done the trail at the top of the tram in Juneau? Beautiful views but I didn’t make it to the top. Not sure how far I got but it was pretty high!
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. -Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken
In our FB “shenanigans squad” group as a pinned post, yes! We’ll be using that brief time at home to do laundry and repack, so no extra cruises jammed in there!! :P
@AimeeTracy If you're at the shenanigans group homepage (not our main public page), it's in the Featured section at the top where it always lives. Hey - on a side note: I heard that the Alaska Chip Company had the best potatoe chips. Unfortunately, they can only be found in Alaska. If you see some, can you try them for me? 😃
It took my brain a second to get to "recreate" as in "enjoy" (like recreation) rather than "re-create" like to create again, ha ha... but yes... "enjoy" the trail at your own risk!! :P ~Jay

Snow on the ground and mosquitos don't go together! Loved this segment as your adventure continues!
I have to keep reminding myself that the clear skies you are getting is not normal and that I shouldn’t expect the same on my cruise.

@@billcook4768 last year in July we had beautiful 70 degree days. I never used my raincoat, umbrella or waterproof shoes.
I loved the “photo’s by Dee”!!❤❤
As many times as yall visit Alaska, I’ll enjoy watching. Happy to see you exploring less visited ports, and I envy this extended trip!
The views are so beautiful! Alaska is on my bucket list thanx Dee and Jay for taking us all there
Wow thank you - Alaska has gone up higher on my bucket list now. so beautiful
'Blood-sucking mosquito boy' moniker - too funny! Am enjoying your travels. Rock on! :)
Nice Job! As usual.
Loved Valdez 🎉
Cruising to Alaska April 2025, can't wait 😊
Me too 😉🙂
Beautiful sail in and from the top of the trail.

AMAZING ❤❤❤
Thankyou
Thank You for sharing, have to say you have had some great weather on this cruise so far. Beautiful sail in and day at Valdez.

You are both amazing. I am too afraid to experience what you do
I’m amazed Jay resisted making a “when you come to a fork in the road, take it” joke.

We have! We didn’t make it all the way to the end either, ha ha. But the views were awesome!! :D
Congrats on risky recreating and not getting eaten by a bear!😂
I have done the mosquito dance! 🕺

Where can I find the pinned posts on FB regarding where you are going on your July 24th cruise? Also, anything exciting between July 9th and then? 😀

@@parodeejay Found it thank you! I see it is in a post dated 3/7/20. I didn’t scroll down far enough under featured posts. Ty!
Willow tree?? guessing lol

Surprised this is your first encounter with Alaska mosquitoes . They are huge and viscous!
I’m need to switch to another cruise line if I go to Alaska again.
Which one did you take? Why was it disappointing?
@@jackiebyers3424 - it wasn’t disappointing. Carnival doesn’t have many destinations in Alaska. Alaska was amazing but I’d like to see more.
I don't understand what that sign means

Hope you had fun recreating nature, but at your own risk.
I would be afraid to walk on those deserted areas, what if a bear is hungry and I am his only prey! You guys are brave! 🥰
