I think anyone commenting on shaws lack of ability are clearly sitting on their fat arses with cheeto crumbs all over the keyboard. The boy has over 20 stoppages to his name having never set foot in a gym until he was 20 years old. To see how fast he progressed to where he's ended up all while working a full time job is incredible. I don't think one fc would have signed him if they didn't think he could compete at this level. Big respect to both fighters. It's never good look when a smaller thai fighter is walking down a larger farang. You really have to bring it to the thais and win in a convincing fashion if not by KO.

I like that ONE uses 4 ounce gloves, full muay thai rules and cages. I also love Glory for its format.
yes, Glory and ONE are a paradise for those who enjoy stand up fighting to its finest, I really tried to grab the like of grappling but I just could not stand it, and wound up forwarding to the moment the fighters where standing trading combos. MMA is not for me.
@@JoseAlvarez-dl3hm I hear you. But I tell you the more you appreciate jitsu or escape skill, the more you wouldn't mind the grabbing. I understand though.
@@Watch272 they all have their own beauty, but MT is the most entertaining spectator sport IMO. It’s like brutal kick-boxing. The combos while the opponent is falling in MT is a thing of beauty too, love watching a sweep into kick combo, that kind of stuff you don’t get in MMA because of the takedown risks.

Sounds like Shaw's corner was pushing him to use elbows starting in the 2nd round.
Not sure why they made that decision, he just doesn't have the resilience to go blow for blow with Rodlek in the pocket like that. Should have used his range and picked his shots from afar.

Shaw obviously trying to win by cut from somewhere into the second round. That's a really dirty way of winning - even if you win, you're not the better fighter. You could never feel proud of that one. Glad Rodlek got him.

Do you know that? why Thai people smaller than other but fight more strong because they are Roots of Muay thai and your not. If you are bring it on the ring same size /same weight/same high you will not win them easyly.
