Ahhhh this game was a masterpiece; one of the best games ever. Black was brilliant (seeing as it was this game) with the slight improvements I wish they'd make a remake or an incredible sequel for the Xbox One

I don't think any other action game has come close to Ninja Gaiden Black...it had the awesome, intricate combat mechanics, puzzles, platforming, insane graphics and AI and a good soundtrack. Two was okay, but three...that game was fucking abysmal! Like I said, they either need to reboot the series and make it like the first one, or remaster it!

You could sit for hours, not just playing, but watching, and it has to be an amazing game that you can spectate for ages.

@prodigy250 I don't really have much time for games these days, but after listening to this, I ended up playing through NGB again, and the NG2 as well haha. I kind of stopped playing games after Halo Reach, combination of getting older and going to university, moving away from the friends I used to play with, people getting girlfriends etc, and generally the games just aren't as good. Most recently the games I found kind of worthy of interest was The Last of Us and GTA 5. Both solid games that you couldn't really stop playing!
Agreed on the games not being as good as they used too. I have a suggestion though. Metal Gear Solid V is AWESOME!!!!! I didn't play games for a while like I used to, but I was waiting for mgsv to release for a long time. Now that it's finally here, it did not disappoint. Give it a try.

I'll never in my life forget playing ninja gaiden for the first time. I was lucky to see the back of the case at a friend's house I then played it with my brother until about chapter 6. He then found out there's a ninja gaiden black and we got that game and I'll always render the feeling I'll get for reaching a new chapter for the first time and the music and reading the diaries and texts and the cut scenes. Finding out about the unlabored flawlessness was crazy and playing on the higher difficulties and facing a clone version of yourself omfg. This game man it's the best single player game ever I almost only play online games but I'll put those on pause for this game and ng2 sometimes. I wish I could play this again for the first time and be a noob again and be stuck on chapter 1 on master ninja for a month straight. I fucking love this game and it's in depth combat and AI and weapons and music

I know I'm 2 years late but I have Ninja Gaiden Black and vanilla NG2 for the Xbox one because of the backwards compatibility and way superior than sigma 1 and sigma 2 and also razors edge on the other hand is better than vanilla 3 but it's still the worst and the most underwhelming conclusion in the entire trilogy. But yeah the master's collection is pretty worthless to buy.
Out of every fantasy fighting game I've played, this one has the most realistic martial arts moves. It's what makes the combat even more exciting. I've trained in Kung Fu for 4 years now and have experience with the sword, staff and whip chain. I can say many of the moves are quite realistic in their form. I'm actually thinking of making a study on video to demonstrate this very thing. Where I attempt to recreate the moves as much as possible. Minus the flying swallow of course and other moves that ignore physics.

Brings back some Memories of my Mid 20's playing this verison of NG when First heard this I said Man this doesn't Sound like COLD Freezing Music! !I🤔 it's a lot slower Tune of course but Had to play it over again like 3 times to get the feel of it after hearing the background sound EFX in Stereo 😉👍🤘
Ah hard to decide if I love this or Aquaduct more. Aquaduct IMO represents the whole game's atmosphere, but the ice cave is calming, unique and memorable.
I have been playing the ninja gaiden games on gamepass. Just came here to say this sounds very similar to phendrana drifts from metroid prime. Prefer metroid prime sountrack the most, but this is really good too.

Who's here after Ninja Gaiden Remastered release? I bought Ninja Gaiden Black and NG 2 for xbox one again.
