    Compassion Fatigue is Caregiver Burnout and OVERWHELM. Anyone who cares for another may be interested in The Inspired Caregiver (for the health of the caregiver) and to check out Inspiredcaregiver youtube channel for quick tips to prevent Burnout.

    can burnout mean tired of doing everyone jobs they choose not to do and it falls on me,, yet they are the good ones...

      Yep thats pretty much exactly what it is... then when you try to set boundaries its too late and they’ll scapegoat you if you insist.

      Not really. Ill people cant do things, so its not just being mad or tired about people whom you take care of not doing anything.

    Oh right the Dr had compassion fatigue.All they really do is write the orders. The nurses are the ones who suffer the most. I recently told my Doctor that I am tired of watching people die. He said Oh I don't have to see that so I cant really understand. Its not all about doctors.

      ontnurse2 I 100 hundred percent agree, I get really attached to my patients. I often times get tired of listening to peoples problems every single Day when I know if they are large to them, but they seem so small to me. I set it here and I’m like oh my God it that could only be my problem I would be totally OK I lost both my parents five months between each other, but I’m able to function. But it does get hard. I literally just get so exhausted I can barely stay awake at work sometimes

      ... And caregivers, too. They experience of the so called "compassionate fatigue" or "Burn out". 😩😴😓

      I don't think you understood the video. He's not a medical doctor-but a Psychologist. So, he's referring to clinicians in the mental health and social services field.
