I head that the most reason why singers like her cannot be sold very well or isn’t famous is bc she’s too good at singing so ironically powerless singers can sell records very well because people can easily sing along with the catchy melodies of songs and stuff.
To be honest she's a Mezzo Soprano, why? Yes she can sing upper belts but barely support them, her highest belted was A5 but that note was just a peaked note in glissando but her highest screamed note in chest was Bb5.
@@nagisachi6996 she support almost all her belting range, all the way to E5/F5 , and when she mix in a headier placement you can clearly listen how light her voice really is, is just the hugh amount of push and chestyness that make her sound darker and "bigger", but in some moments, usually when she sing the medium-low parts of her own song you can hear her "less manipulated" voice (sorry my english)

She sometimes pushes her notes above E5. If she would change her mix to a more balanced one, and forget about the weightiness, she could consistently support G5 and inconsistently support Bb5.
Slowly Breaking Sohyang is better in mix and probably the best singer in the world as well as Son Seungyeon, Lee Haeri and Lee Younghyun but Ailee is amazing overall
Yeong-Hoon Lee Son Seungyeon, Lee Haeri and Younghyun all have a way better mix than her and Seungyeon and Younghyun are very close to being as good overall
Sohyang can achieve notes that Ailee can't, but I still prefer Ailee's vocal timbre. I think her vocal is stronger (it's like comparing Whitney Houston with Mariah Carey, I prefer Whitney's vocal.)
