DPF problems can be avoided by mixing short journeys with once a week long journey for an hour to get engine really hot and burn off all the DPF deposits.
@@michaelwhite8258 over time SAPS deposits build up in the DPF and have to be flushed or a sensor, pipe, egr air leak etc cause the DPF to be overwhelmed But under normal circumstances with regular maintenance and servicing they are pretty reliable. Thanks for your input. Kind regards Mike
