I like KOF 13 and 14's interpretations of his move because it implies that as his opponent is distracted by what he throws, he goes in for the initial punch to catch his opponent off guard, which we can clearly see his goggles as they recoil and he catches, puts them back on and gives you the hardest beat down of your life. I wish they brought back that detail for KOF15. Another detail I wish they had kept was the zoom in on the advanced version of a super like in 14.
I still can't understand why they kept the animation, but failed to add the goggles themselves. KOFXV K' simply waves his hand to catch invisible goggles that magically (and conveniently) appear when K's hand is supposed to reach them.
This technique was inspired by a scene in the movie *Drive* (1997) I like when K' says Ora Ora Ora in KOF 2002 and onwards. Makes me wonder why he doesn't said it in 2002UM

KoF 13 its the absolute best interpretation of the chain drive, it not only hammers down how much of badass K´ is, but also how ridiculously strong he is to. His glasses are seton freaking fire from the get go, when the atack lands he moves SO fast he has time to catch them mid air, put them back on and then beat the living crap out of you, as players you se how this happens, but from a "personal" point of view, its obvious the glasses fly, smack someone in the face and K´ its already beating them down to a pulp, but if thats not enought when the enemy its falling down he moves back "again" so fast he dissapears and then crashes you with a Heat drive right in the face. Im sad that the black background its been lost in the future vertions, it just gives down a very cool factor to the whole thing, emphatizes just how fast K´ is on his powers. In all honesty theres varely any other super that looks as cool and badass as K´ Chain Drive
I love this too, but i think the normal chain drive (not EX) should be the early versions of it, no pause and beatdown directly without freeze frames, how it would look on the "outside" then the EX version is like K' himself sees it.
I liked when they added the Ora Ora Ora voice clips, I think in terms of visuals my favorite is EX XIII only for the end even if I arent too fond into the sprites like others

Despite XIV's graphical flaws, KOF XIV has the better Chain Drive overall. The darkened background makes the attack more menacing, giving you the feel that the opponent is about to be blacked out. The Lv 2 version of it, oh damn, the closeup before the action, fiery glasses projectile, the more badass voice during its LV 2 version, and the final attack feels more impactful than in XV. Lastly, in XIV, we can see the glasses bounce back to his hand to wear it, while in XV, the thrown glasses mysteriously disappear and he just gets a new one instead.

Es que lástima lo caro que le resulta a SNK producir un juego como KOF XIII porque ellos nunca debieron haber cambiardo la estética del juego a partir de esa versión. Pero bueno, al menos todavía están produciendo los juegos y tratando de mejorarlos con los recursos con los que cuentan.

What I really liked about XIV were the close ups for the 2 meter specials, in XV they would have looked amazing, only Ralf and Clark have them.
