My new found favourite bushcrafting channel. Love the chilled vibes and carefree demeanour you give off. Ive only recently got into bushcrafting after struggling to find suitsble woodlands and now im totally hooked and learning more and more every time. Especially love the message at the end re those struggling with mental health issues. The world would be a lot better place with more like you brother!
Any tips for selecting suitable woodland to camp in? I'm near Gisburn forest but there's a ton of mountain bikers there, I'm worried that angry people will turn up in the night and shout at me 😂
..Ahh nice&chilled out video matey 😎 Those beeers are pricey in tesco £2/3 each holy crap Hey fry those onions first..even more flavor.. Good on ya #MANDOWN
Was lucky to have woods and fields to play in as a kid, so yes, we built loads of camps ❤️ We also used to ride the horses bare back. One day, they let us know not to do that again. It was fun while it lasted though. Another great vid Craig 👍🏼
Yep may as well camp up in the raised platform I know your gonna 🤣probably tarp a crafty roof. Cool spot...You had that fire box a blaze 🔥. See you later ✌️😎
I suffer from depression and anxiety Craig but when im wild camping and go off grid for a night or two in the woods or forest it all goes away and i feel amazing in nature, so i try and get at least one night in a week but do find some weeks i cant as im too busy.
Don't put any pressure on yourself to go out one night every week. It will become routine and just another day of the week. I'm not saying you stay indoors, but each camp will be better anticipated and you'll enjoy it and look forward to the next time, do you see what I mean? I hope you get to have a great time out soon, but try not to over think about it. Regards.
I'm just surprised you didn't make machine gun noises while up in that tower! 😄 What a perfect area you've chose to camp in with the lovely soft floor and bird activity. Perfection! Makes me even more looking forward to getting back out and doing a camp. Great food as always... twice! Ha ha wild camping is hungry work. Cheers mate Atb Mike. 🍻
The sound of the birds while your cooking is soo nice, have you ever been told to move on when in the forest? Don’t it worry you about having your van Brocken into when left near the forest?
It’s beautiful right ! I never get worried about be told to move on because I never see anybody and my chances of getting caught in camp are very slim. I am worried about the car and van though yes mate 100%
I couldn’t help but imagine someone walking past this campsite this summer and seeing some peppers randomly growing in the middle of the forest and how confused they’d be 😂 Binge watch is on. Great work on the 200 miler, good to see your dad join in.
Hey there, supposibly there fire watch towers......last time up one saw massive deer heard, you can track them through the forrest, follow the animal trails look for sign, keep quiet you can get to find bedding down areas and suprise some deer. Let us know if have any strange occourances when in thetford..... You can park near west stow alot of free car praks and walk in,if got 4x4 theres a trail straight through.....get in easy, decent maps show all the tracks, trails, water, roads, mounds, pits ect. Few miles in no one is about, certain places you can watch the local u.s aircraft turn real low for mildenhall,i mean low. Love the vids bro...and gear, dpm mix with mtp ruck cool. If want get cheap belt saw look at a dry wall saw in sheath, pick one up for 7 quid.....really cut branches quick, very handy, for small tasks check out opinel no.9 or 10 ,cut veggies,de bark sticks great for making self a walking stick. You can make a survival type walking stick, paracord wrap where hand goes, then got cordage always, then burn in on back of stick 6 inch marks, then got ruler guage, drill hole near paracord add a loop for hand with toggle or even better bit deer antler, add small whistle on bit cord, if leave 6 inch free on top of stick, buy a trowel survival tool and it fits on top as spear, plus has bottle opener, saw edge, hex wrench holes on trowel, plus it digs, comes in black belt pouch....all very handy and makes a universal survival walking stick. Use stick to navigate when know direction lay stick through onsticles in dite tion, walk round obsticle and pick up stick, relay down, carry on,keeps u on straight course through thicker bush or trees. Plus stick used to hold up tarp, keep away animals, aid walking ect ect ect. Keep up good vids bud, could do reveiw of kit u use and why,new products esp mora knives, water purifying inline filters which you can add to military camel back to make a 2 litre purifying survival water carry, and fill anywhere, drink any where. Also look up wool blanket survival shirt on u tube, will aid warmth for u,plus can make yourself, plus wool even when wet retains 80 percent of warmth and wont get set on fire near fires. Love the uploads, keep it going. Peace.
