This was a good message. I grew up the son of a preacher who didn't practice grace. I learned not to ask for anything because spam and warm Dr. Thunder was what I would be given if I was lucky. Everything had to be earned, and his love was something that was off limits and couldn't be earned. I accepted Jesus at my lowest point but still struggle with the concept of unconditional Fatherly love, because it's such a foreign concept to me.
