brings back memories of our holidays in Sussex Inlet/Foster 1960s/1970s >dad used hire a putt putt to take us fishing. I can remeber one company was the red spot boat hire
i had a boat like this clinker built , old Briggs and Straton worked like a charm, simple and efficient when i was younger ,my brother and i enjoyed many moments fishing together wish i had it today .
Hi Felix, thanks for the message. We sold the boat a while back and the bloke that bought it actually bolted an outboard on the stern and drove it out of Botany Bay and out offshore... Luckily all went well and at last report it was moored up at Pittwater. Cheers
He would have tapped the water pump to get the little rubber plunger valve's to unstick. You can see he looks outside the boat to see if water is coming from the exhaust which is what it's supposed to do, a couple of taps, recheck the exhaust, and puts hammer away. 👍
Apologies John, we completely forgot! I actually thought it was later in the month till I got your message... I think we're selling the boat if you know anyone who might be interested.
That does not polute any water... Just the atmosphere. And it surely PRODUCES, at the ENGINE, much less ozone, carbon monoxide, and copper based carbon and oxygen compounds than any electric motor. Other than the fact that any battery will only last ten years and every recycle, for TEN YEARS, will polute more water and atmosphere than ANY road legal gasoline engine (stock) and 15 than any road legal diesel.

You just bought back some great memories of when I had one.
Miss it for sure.
Save putting.
Why do you call it a putt putt, when it's just by an fuel engine? Putt putts are those with a boiler and tubes in water
That's what they call those motors... Listen putt putt putt putt. Normally stand alone motors
What a glorious site to watch. Brings back many fishing outings as a Child with my Father, R.I.P Dad.
Hi Gary, glad you enjoyed the video. Unfortunately we sold the boat a while back now and last I heard it was moored up Pittwater way. Cheers
Nice old boat but music needs to go it kills the sound of the engine

Why would you cover the putt putt sound with music??
Inserts porn music when we really just want to hear the engine..... FML
That's an inboard flywheel motor. Not a "putt-putt" boat.
Hi fantastic video i have a putt putt boat it has a small inboard diesel engine where can you buy the brass fuel filler with the cap
If I want to listen to music. Well you know.
Nice video , what does the hammer do ? Why did the running motor need a tap ?

Beautiful engine, what is it?
It's 2 stroke
No problem, glad you liked the video. Boat still has a running issue unfortunately and is in need of a lot more work, and soon!

Dancing Oil Can @2:00
Can't stand background music 👎👎👎
Bad luck mate, was made 10 years ago.
Yeah..no thank you. I would rather see an electric motor and a battery and cruise in quietness as nature intended with no pollution to out water.

@Inquiring Minds yeah, cruise for 20 times the price and 1% the distance. Yeah..No thank you.
All it does is take water in and spit it out by means of a heat source
