I am looking back with hindsight but to my estimation the real Top three at this point was Rin, Shidou and Isagi but the 3rd selection wouldn’t work without Isagi choosing to play on and compete against those 2. The biggest confrontation comes from his thoughts talking about playing with Nagi and lamenting how easy it would be to force Nagi to play his style. I won’t go into anymore for spoiler reasons but it’s funny how Karasu is like an audience surrogate in the upcoming match. Also, for a little heads up Hoiri is a super important character popping up soon for non manga readers.
