Dom makes a point of not subjecting himself to injury risk due to overcommiting. He has pretty complete physical attributes but what makes me excited about him are his game intelligence and mentality.

Well, yesterday's performance pretty much summed him up. SzoBOSSzlai! Down to 10 men and still bossed the midfield and wing! Now if that consistency can remain and no injuries plague him, oof! We'll be seeing something special this season!

I had heard of him. He was instrumental to Hungary's rise as a national team (they beat England 4-0). Also, he was a lynchpin of Leipzig's midfield under Nagelsmann that reached the semis of the UCL along with Laimer™ (another one who would have absolutely fit seamlessly in Klopp's system).

The fact that Liverpool's free kick taker is a defender is no issue, because Trent is really good at them. It's more likely they'll just distribute them themselves based on the position of the free kick and who's having a good game.

As ihave already said earlier,Szoboslai is a good looking foot player;but one thing we should always remember is that he comes from a different style of play and in the future he has to adapt to the EPL.No matter how good he isnow in the english test which is one of the hardest actually and adding to that Lfc is well renowned team and any mishap you do you have to pay it cash!So,good luck mr Zobo.
Quite incorrect about the lack of injuries. When Leipzig announced they were signing Szoboszlai in December 2020, he was sidelined with a groin injury, and didn't get a game the rest of that season. Missed over 6 months. That being said, I love the guy, and the Reds are lucky to have him. Definite game changer.
That injury was "only" inflammation in the bones if I remember correctly.
Midfield is a rough position. Only time will tell if he is really not injury prone.

I think mac Allister will be the signing of the season, and Szoboszlai will take a little longer to get to his top level. I just feel mac Allister will hit the ground running because he's such a smart player, and he has absolutely everything.
When Szoboszlai finally does though, I can't wait to see the result. He reminds me so much of watching Kaka when I was growing up, just the way he glides past people with the ball, he's very similar to him. He's one of those mercurial talents and when he fully settles and gets used to the league, he's going to be world class imo.
