I have only one somewhat nice model aircraft, it’s a JC Wings Ansett Australia Boeing 747 in a odd paint scheme. It has a Singapore Airlines aircraft livery on it (which is 9V-SMT, an Airbus A350). I got it for A$199.00, and I think it’s an amazing model

My first proper one is arriving tommorow the Daron air Canada a330 (fav plane and fav airline as a Canadian) I’ve so flown on at least one and have a Thrustmaster airbus a330 captains pack rudder pedals etc
i got a philippine airlines a321-200 and a 777-300er and also a, cebu pacific atr-72 and a330neo. i decided to make a regional airport with it and it looks decent. it has 1 runway and 7 gates
I just started collecting models and bought an a380 for my first one and then for christmas got a 737,787,and 777,and I didnt know any of these tips and already made a big mistake of throwing away the boxes,luckily,I never plan on selling them

How to get rid of your 1:500 models? ( i mostly have herpa wings but i do have some rare ones like United battleship grey 747-400...etc) im all 1:400 scale now but im stuck with 1:500 models. I want to get rid of them and fully go in 1:400.

I'd recommend you to build your own terminal to the size of your table :)

Hey I‘ve got a question tho.
So basically I recently got 9 *1:500* airplane models and I have the goal to build a model airport with them. Heres the question:
What scale is better for model airports? 1:500 or 1:400?

1:400, i never bought any 1:400 planes but i think 1:400 is better as if you need to find something or fix a plane it is easier to build it but it might cost a lot more as bigger = expensive but yeah, 1:400 if you have a lot of money but 1:500 if you are in a budget, but if you do start collecting 1:400 you can either sell 1:500 for money or like heathrow theres a big a380 emirates so you might wanna make a stand and use it for that if you do have an entrance for your airport
