I just ate there and that place is no joke. Friendliest service and the food is the best I have ever had. When you come to Louisville this is a must place to eat.

Went today on Goodall's review. Excellent. Best Chicago style Italian beef I have had in KY in 20 yrs. I'm from Chicago, and Frankie is too and was very personable.

Idk how I missed this when it 1st came out. I thought I was keeping up! I have heard about & thought about trying this place. I could do 2 bites max of that sandwich! Huge! But I think my husband could put it away. Then maybe 1 of those huge shrimp & a mushroom or 2. I did miss you saying what your total was & how much you ate versus how much you were taking home. P. S. a chicken gizzard is the stomach of the chicken.
I love gizzards but don’t like the livers. Love that place.

Barry & John, very nice review on a nice place & food looks real good. They have a lot more items than seafood I see , & I like Italian beef sandwiches, the one thing for me on seafood is I want it wild caught only, fish, crustaceans, shellfish, farm raised = zero/no flavor to me , even if it is less costly to buy. I love you, brother and your content, however, I’ve lived in Chicago and Suburbs my whole life and I can tell you there’s no such thing as an Italian beef with barbecue sauce at least not an authentic Italian beef.

I'm a true Chicagoan and Mr, Goodall I kid you not that there's no such thing as mild sauce, but hot giardeneira indeed we do add on the Italian beef. That grouper and jack salmon looked tasty, it was good seeing how you enjoyed them both
I had to try it even though I didn’t care Fitbit too much. It really is a great Italian beef sandwich though. Taft grouper was very good also.

@@goodallscountrykitchen It was great we ordered everything and shared. I've never been to one here in the Tri-State that came close to real authentic food. 10/10 plus 100 good sir grilled onions or green onions is my favorite I'm glad they had whole green onions 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Grew up in Chicago my whole life 55 years old never heard of no mild sauce.. You either get auju or red sauce with peppers..
I had Au jus. Could the Mild sauce I had be the red sauce you speak of?

Barry, what was the name of that sauce you put on the Italian Beef? I don't see anything on line about it. I actually called some Italian places I Chicago that serve these, and they didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about. In fact they said that if I ever called back again they would be forced to call Vinny down on 37th street to "take care of the problem". 😰

Just ate there. Was it bought recently? Outside junk from possible remodeling? Pepper is intense now. Hid the flavor of the Grouper. Tarter in little tear off end packets. No fresh tarter. Shrimp was ok. Pastry counter empty. Not the same as this review now.
You should have ordered the Italian Beef sandwiches. Best in Louisville.

Former Buzz Parsons now Cunninghams has the best fish sandwich in Louisville. Mike Lenig on Cane Run Road is just as good as Cunninghams. Don't know if Lenig still serves frog legs, but they were the best

Good video but I have to be honest after a while there's just no weight to what you say in the videos. You don't have to hate anything but you have to be able to critique it though. If everything you consume is amazing or awesome then it offers little value and hard to know if one place does something better than another place does it
It ends up reading that your loyalty is to the restaurants and not to the viewers that want someone's honest opinions about what they are eating
@@TheReviewSpot I take it you haven’t been following my channel long? Periodically I point out that if I review a place that is not worthy to put my name on it, I just scrap the video and move on. That’s why I do a lot of research and only act on credible recommendations. It’s too expensive and a waste of my time if I have to scrap a video.

The reviews to me are to spread the word about delicious food. Not to bash the not so good.

A gizzard is an organ. Anybody who eats an organ needs to have a brain evaluation. I am a carnivore I eat all meats I do occasionally eat chicken livers, beef livers are subpar. Stick to regular meats.
Going to my brain surgeon to be checked out I love liver and onions, chicken livers and gizzards. A country boy will survive. Yeah man you ought to stick with what you call REGULAR MEAT! User-lu5. Another reviewer who needs to stick with Fast Food!!
