not going after Flacco is wild. He's got a cannon and is a fit!
Not really Dolphins line isn't good and dude is a statue. Much rather see what Huntley can do as he can extend plays with his legs and has at least been average when forced into action in the past and has never had weapons like Hill and Waddle to throw to.
Hoping Tua gets back and stays healthy.
Scary stuff
Not like he was playing well beforehand
As a NFL QB the hard hits will come at some point. The severity of his concussions are very concerning for the future.
The first rule for Tanking for Cam Ward is not talking about tanking for Cam Ward
*I honestly never want to see this dude go into the fencing posture ever again on live tv.*
Uh, who does? You really thought it necessary to distunguish yourself from 100% of society that never had to speak it because we all know that we all live that belief?
The depth of your criticism is hilarious considering the comment you're responding to is a widely held viewpoint. You really had to go digging to get yourself upset. Touch grass
@@armsofshrimperdan the lack of contextual comprehension shows you took what I'm saying the wrong way, as 99% of people hold that sentiment. The original comment is clearly for likes, not to spread awareness.
So looks like at best you just exhibited the same behavior you I did. Go drink a glass of water.
@@jhank0cean then he needs to retire. Dude doesn’t know how to slide or save himself.
@@TrueLies23 What awareness needs to be spread?
The fact that everyone agrees is the point.
Gardner with McDaniel would be ideal
Should call browns for Winston
Dolphins should inquire about Joe Milton in New England, Lawrence in Jacksonville, or Zach Wilson in Denver. Any one of them could be a good fit, providing the compensation is very good…
🤔
Have zero interest in Wilson seen enough of him to know that right now he's not gonna help the team win games. Lawrence isn't realistic at all Jags just paid him they aren't gonna trade him for anything and Dolphins don't have the cap space anyways for it unless the trade was straight up Tua for Lawrence which jags are never doing. Much rather just see what Huntley can do he's been a solid backup in the past for the Ravens but haven't really seen what he's capable of as those Ravens teams were limited when it came to WR and were very run heavy offense. He's never had weapons like Hill and Waddle. So feel like Huntley gives them more of a chance to win games then Wilson or whoever Milton is.
@@wisewolftony Milton could very well be the Patriots version of Brock Purdy, if Maye doesn’t work out. Milton definitely put himself on the radar during the preseason. All depends on how much they are invested in Maye, and what type of quarterback controversy if any arises in New England. If Russell Wilson’s situation involving the CAP, and Bryce Young are any indication of what money means in the future, then even Trevor Lawrence could be up for grabs too…
Zach Wilson, is not as damaged goods as people make him out to be… He definitely played well in the preseason, arguably better than Nix. Historically in the NFL, a change of scenery could do wonders for carriers, just look at Steve Young, Brett Favre, and Drew Brees… Or even Stafford, Dilfer, and Brad Johnson…
🤔
This team is like a casting call for Ripley’s “Believe it or not”. We just witnessed Baltimore destroy Buffalo with a mobile QB, a good line and a power back. There’s no reason that couldn’t be us. McDaniel and his love affair with Tua is the problem with this team. We’re completely on the wrong path.
THIS IS TUAS TEAM !!!!
Hahaha… they didn’t want to chance getting Russell Wilson 😂😂😂
Can't believe they haven't at least talked to Tannehill or Bridgewater or Tommy or literally anybody!
Because Tannehill is a statue in the pocket and pretty sure they already got who they want in Huntley. Sure can you get someone a bit better yea but your gonna have to give up assets just for a guy that best case will start a few games. Huntley has been a solid backup in the past and brings something that is kind of needed right now for Miami and their O-line which is Huntley can extend plays with his legs.
why?
To me none of the options make much sense at all. Guys like Tannehill or Flacco are statues in the pocket so don't see them helping at all with Dolphins O-Line issues. Then Russ isn't anywhere near as mobile as he used to and has never been good at making quick reads and getting the ball out which is what the Dolphins offense is built around. And haven't looked into it but Steelers might not want to even trade him they are showing they can win with average QB play so if Fields regresses or gets hurt they will want someone like Russ. Then the other names are Wilson and Lance two guys are are projects who I'm in no way bringing in with expectations they can keep the team above water until Tua comes back. Those are guys I would bring in if Tua retired and try and build them up not guys I'm asking to save the season. Seen especially Wilson play enough to know he's not saving anything.
Huntley has looked better in his limited starts than Wilson ever has. So that is who I and the team is going with now and think he would have started last week if it wasn't for him only having a few days to learn the offense before the Seahawks game. He can extend plays with his legs which is crucial for the lack of protection he could get especially this week as I think Armstead is out with a concussion. Kid looked decent as a backup with the Ravens hard to really judge him as they were run heavy team and his weapons at WR were limited.
If the Dolphins want a QB trade they will want him to play NOW Russell Wilson can’t do that still hurt. So I don’t know why he would even be in that conversation
I think they already got who they wanted which is Huntley sure can you get someone a bit better sure but gonna have to give up assets for them. People bring up Flacco or Tannehill but both of them are statues and Dolphins have protection issues at times so both guys wouldn't do anything for the offense. Other names thrown out are like Zach Wilson or Lance and both of those guys are projects that in no way you are bringing in with hopes of staying in the race until Tua comes back. Huntley has looked better than both of them with his limited starts. And reason I like going with him is he can extend plays with his legs which helps if protection breaks down which might be even more of a case at least this week as think Armstead is out with a concussion.
Miami taking it slow with NY and Buffalo looking strong likely means their playoff window is all but shut.
Wouldn't say that for starters still not having an opinion on the Jets they have beaten the Pats and Titans two teams that might be in the running for the 1st pick or at least a top 5 pick in the draft. And 3 wild card teams make the playoffs and right now in the AFC only two teams not leading their division. Meaning as of right now the Dolphins are tied with 6 other teams for the 3rd wild card spot.
Think the reason they haven't made any moves is because they like Huntley over the other possible options. Which names I have heard are Flacco and Tannehill both of which are statues and Dolphins have pass protection issues right now so both of them would offer nothing unless they are getting rid of the ball as quickly as Tua has the last 2 years which I know isn't the case with Tannehill. Both of those guys also might not want to sign with a team who will put them back on the bench as soon Tua is cleared. Other names have been like Zach Wilson and Lance both of which are projects who your not bringing in with hopes of them keeping you above water. Huntley has looked better than both of them in his limited starts and can mobile so even if the protection isn't great he can buy time.
Time too fire everyone!!!!! Incompetent coach gm and owner!!!!
Why was tua not supposed to be with his team? What exactly would flying on an airplane have to do with a concussion
it can worsen symptoms. I imagine due to air pressure changes or something 🤷🏽♂️
He flew to Hawaii after the game to retirement plantation shop so flying doesn’t matter.
Dolphins suck…a little less worse with Tua than the 7th round kid.
A little? A little is the gap between Justin fields and Russel Wilson. The gap between Tua and anyone available to be the back up is seismic
You clearly didn't watch the Seahawks game if you think that is the case. Thompson still can't read defenses or make quick decisions half the reason he got crushed on Sunday and is hurt is because of him holding onto the ball all day and just taking massive hits including a hail mary at the end of the half which have no clue why he was sitting their for 10 seconds waiting for someone to get open on such a play and not just throwing it up into the endzone instead he waited and waited before taking sack that he never even saw coming. Game also might have been different if after the Dolphins defense got a INT giving the offense the ball at the 5 yard line. If they scored a TD. But nah instead Thompson on 3rd down didn't even see that Waddle was open and instead scrambled to the opposite side of the field before throwing the ball away.
