@@FightinCowboy Yeah the missile system is really neat in 4th gen. You're FCS can lock on to enemy missiles and then you can shoot them down like as CIWS instead of dodging or using flares. Missiles can get distracted by other missiles and start running in circles, which actually happens once in this episode. I know you already finished recording the series but yeah, if an enemy is using a machine gun or shotgun it's really easy for them to blow up YOUR missiles in YOUR face.
Idk if you've already figured it out or not but assault armor is tied to your over booster if it doesn't have numbers next to assault armor attack you can't use it
I think what happened was there was a lag/glitch. They were taking far more damage since their PA was gone and in that moment kind of stuttered. Once the game corrected itself, poof.
Me- As fast as everything is in this game i would definitely invest in turning speed Cowboy- i don't need to turn if my missiles track you to hell and back 😂
been glad to see you running through AC4A. Grew up on this so interested to see how you fare. You can replay Arena matches using the Freeplay mode on the menu to the right if you want to test parts. As for what happened in your last arena match a few people already posted this but you managed to hit one of her missiles as it left the tube, which detonated and hit the rest, because you were pelting them with the machine guns she had almost no PA to absorb the hit so it went all to AP.
Just purchased AC 6 and have beaten the tutorial boss, apart from your play through whats your best starter tip woof woof (first mech game ever) wish me luck
Buy parts as soon as you can. You can rebuild and modify a mech mid-misson using any existing parts if you die, but can't access the shop unless you're between missions. Having more parts upfront allows more ways to adjust and change your build if you die.
Cowboy - without you I’d suck at this game. And Elden ring I never would’ve finished. You’re the man and are appreciated!!!
Cowboy, you shot their missiles as they fired them, causing the missiles to explode in Risaia’s face.
Oh neat

Yeah i noticed the lock a few times, never even registered I could shoot em down immediately on launch to kill them via splash
Cube: "I'm too fast for your AC."
FC: "But are you too fast for my missiles?"

6:40 I've noticed that it seems like your missiles are being shot out of the sky by the opponent's slug gun
