    My scanwatch 38mm 2021 has the same problem!
    Started noticing humidity building up in the glass and a much shorter battery life one month before the failure.
    The the back plate detached when i removed from the charger. I was astonished they used a simple gluing solution for the backplate and it is absolutely precarious.
    Requested for warranty, but seem i will need to pay costs as it is already 2 years old. I have had a Steel HR since 2017 without any single problem and still kicking!
    Product use is amazing, but mechanically is not mature with severe design flaws and lousy engineering decisions.

      Very similar to my case. Backplate detached, I reglued it and left the watch to try for some days. And now it won't turn on. I put it on the charger and it doesn't work. I press the button for 20 seconds and nothing happens.

    For dumb dumbs like me: there is only one direction that the watch can go on the charging dock in order for the charge to happen. If you put it 180° around - not the way this video shows, it will not charge. The watch will vibrate and magnetically attach itself to the dock when placed correctly. It took me only one week to figure this out. So not all is completely lost upstairs. I wish the directions for charging were more specific. We, Apple product users, are used to our devices to work every which way: upside down, sideways, hanging in the wall etc. not so with Withings. Also when placed correctly a battery icon will appear on the screen. If the screen is black, pick you watch up turn it around and place it with the button facing out. You’re welcome!

    Hey. Did you manage to get it to work? Charging can be a bit finicky at times

      Hi, I spoke to Withings customer rep. They sent me a replacement charger, but it didn't help. I'm now sending the watch back to them and they will send me a replacement one.

      @@jakub.anderwald Hello, I am having the same problem. I know the charger is working. Did Withings ask to see your warranty before sending you a replacement? I bought my watch second hand and I don't have a warranty. Thank you.

      Just got mine and have tried on both chargers I received…nothing! I’ll be returning everything, don’t even want it now. My old he steel just required a battery change…liked that better than this!

      @@lt7895 not sure if I can help you, I bought my watch directly from withings, so the fact that they didn't ask me for a warranty card might be meaningless - they simply might check purchase history on my account.

    Withings make very poor quality products. My watch has the same problem.

      But they have good customer service and are happy to replace your watch with a new one in case something goes wrong :)
