Saint Faustina Kowalska's feast day is celebrated on October 5th. Saint Faustina, also known as Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, was a Polish nun and mystic who is best known for her devotion to the Divine Mercy and for receiving messages and visions from Jesus, which she recorded in her diary. She was canonized as a saint by Pope John Paul II on April 30, 2000, and her feast day was established on October 5th, the anniversary of her death. Saint Faustina is considered the "Apostle of Divine Mercy" and is a significant figure in the Catholic Church.
