I'm very lucky to live about 20 miles away from Gary's nursery. I bought an Inca plum from him last summer. Can't wait to see what it does this spring/summer. And I've had a Tropic Gold apricot for about 10 years. It gives me tons of apricots each year and has never missed a year. I live in Laguna Hills.
Nice to see this. I planted a Tropic Gold this past December and its already waking up here in Zone 9a on the Texas coast. I heard you mention that Citation rootstock comes with a pink colored label. Is label color coding standard among nurseries? My Apricot had a pink label and came from a reputable nursery.
Hi Gary, I have heard you mention on other videos that a diluted honey spray applied to fruit tree flowers are great for attracting bees for pollination. Does that apply for all fruit trees or just certain trees?

If it's a Dave Wilson tree, then it's more than likely Citation root stock. That's been my experience with Apricot and Apriums.
