There's a myth about a Spanish galleon in the desert somewhere in the Southwest they say it has gold and jewels somehow got landlocked over time buried in the dunes somewhere. Oregon 🤔 could be. I mean the whole west coast was a port to international trading
I wonder sometimes how many of the stories that involve another person possibly being a “threat” are just the teller getting paranoid or completely mistaking one thing for another. Not saying that their fear isn’t real cause in their mind the situation is as real for them as anything else.
I'm an artist and on long trips on trains or subways, I'll start sketching someone that stands out to me. I'll give them the sketch later, as I think having my sketch pad full of strangers might put me on a government list. I'm sketching this woman, and she notices me. I smile at her and she starts getting visibly more stiff. I just continue drawing, not really thinking much. My stop comes and I stand up, and so does she. She rushes out of the door, and I try to catch up with her to give her the drawing. She books it around the corner and I lose her. It wasn't until I was tossing the sketch into the recycling did I realize she probably thought I was a murderer or something lol

Kinda like the story above. Expect I noticed a girl maybe a few years younger than me dropped her wallet Walking out of a grocery store. I grabbed it looked at her ID for her name and ran looking for her can calling her name and she dropped something. Then as she sees me (an I know she has no idea who I am lol) she starts yelling out loud that Im some creeper rapist chasing her and I need to leave her alone.
So unfortunately instead of being the good guy I just roll my eyes turn around take the money out and throw the wallet in a trash can and say to myself “Fine Bitch looks like dinner with my wife is on you tonight” 😂🤷♂️

My mom was an EMT and volunteer fireman when I was in highschool. I remember her talking about her very first call. It was called in as a car accident. The group gets there and a car drove under the trailer of a parked semi. She said the man was sitting in the driver's seat but his head in the back seat. It took her awhile to get the picture out of her mind.
Years ago this woman was an EMT and there was a motorcycle that hit a car and the motorcycle driver was decapitated. She didn't know who he was until she checked his wallet and found out that it was her son.

I’ve had that train dream. I was watching a train pass next to my train window. They all stared at me, and I was all alone. Haunting faces, I still remember.
One was in black and white, a kid with with sunken dark eyes, wearing and “newsboy” hat. Looked like a kid from a 1930s movie. A woman with a jade satin dress and a large feather in her hat. Each one looked at me with utter sadness, like they were heading for doom, and somehow, our lives had connected in the past at some point. I’ve had that nightmare several times. It was always unnerving

The guy with the box truck. That happened to me. I 18 and was driving from Toronto to Winnipeg it's faster to go through U.S.A. . I stopped for gas somewhere in Michigan. This creepy guy I mean he gave me that "No" feeling started looking at me. He followed me half way across Michigan in the upper peninsula in the night. To this day it creeps me out. He was a predator looking for prey.

I'm from a big family, I'm bipolar and accountable for my actions, I've never used my illness as an excuse. But I've met a person who was like Drew and I felt scared I heard that he got mad at his aging dad and threw a those old television set through a window because he didn't get want he wanted. And then his dad came to visit at the group home and he had a huge bandage wrapped around his head.
We're very similar. But I've met a couple Drew's in my life too. One was stupid & died drunk behind the wheel, killing a passenger of the other car. He was never held accountable throughout his teens & even after college. He was in special ed classes with my sister & I remember him claiming he only graduated high school cause they just let him pass without much effort. He was intelligent, and knew how to manipulate people if he wanted something.

I am sorry to the teller during the story of having to retrieve from you friend’s body from the submerged vehicle. It’s sad that unfortunately too many people meet their untimely end due to drinking and driving. I lost my high school ex boyfriend to a drunk driver and it was something that took me many years to recover from. It’s never worth the risk. It’s only fortunate that no innocent people were killed as well in this situation. It’s far too common.
I lost a 17 y.o. cousin due to a drunk driver,and her friends. Her coffin was closed,with a photo of her on the top. :(

That EMT story. I had a call just like that. Suicide by train. Dude was still alive when we got there. We didn’t transport cause we called the doctor and they said no because he was breathing involuntary and he was gonna die(which he did 30 seconds later). Similar sounds to the first one he was talking about.

Guys version on the beach- was just walking and seen a girl so I made some small talk and asked her name and if she was a local, she started looking at me really wired and her eyes kept darting to the cliff which made me nervous like did she have somebody else there with her and were they going to rob me so I turned around and made sure nobody was blocking the stairs and then when I tried to ease the tension she so she didn't want to talk to me anymore and darted towards the cliffs, and started hopping the rocks like they were nothing and I'm pretty sure she was on drugs which kind of made me sad because she was so young, she gave one look back and I think she knew I felt bad for because I was clearly frowning and then she ran off, hope she's doing well.
I have an irrational fear of windows and mirrors at night time also 😱.

Story at 1:42:10… you said you moved into new house with husband, and guest room was your cats room, then said it was your dead moms room, said nothing about your husband and then you went to sleep by yourself. The whole thing was made up or very badly written.
The story at 59:48 had me hard in my feels until it turned into Oliver Twist, “Can I have some more, mister”. Like no child, ever, in this century, especially after a car wreck, is going to say “mister”… Also, not sure the age, but if she was too young to understand her sister was dead then I doubt she would say Veronica (99.9% of the time with long names siblings create nicknames), like Ronnie, or Vivi. As a mom, I don’t buy it. I’m not sure if you embellished this exact story (I know things like this do happen) or what…
Omg these stories. At 51:00, Why were you in a pool alone at 7 at 10pm? They saw your sister come back alone and weren’t worried and then brushed you off at 7 years old to go off and play alone after 10 at night? Those grandparents have no business having children in their care. How did army dude know that woman wasn’t your family also? This story doesn’t make sense to me.

@@diaryofarealmom3264 To try and make the stories scarier. It’s not uncommon to label fictional things as true in order to achieve this, it’s quite common in cinema for example.
They guy who doesn't like his neighbor banging and grabbing your knob and shaking it. Get a gun. Get trained in how to use it. Also try doing jujitsu or any hand to hand combat training to get confident in yourself and your ability to protect yourself. 😊 I definitely feel safer after I did that. In my experience it can take cops a minimum of 15 mins to show up. That was long enough for me to realize what can happen in a short amount of time. Be safe 🙏
