Yet another fantastic adventure Mike, thank you so much for the days you spent on the Northern EDT. I'm looking forward to your next adventure. My fight is already booked for Kirkenes early May 25 and the planning is in progress. You have been a great help with regards to the grocery stores list and all the other great tips you have given, Looking forward to the live stream 👍
Some very beautiful country and as all good things go it had to come to an end. Thanks for producing these videos. Hockey season will soon be upon us. Take care, Al
Not only a great video maker....a strong rider...and (from what I tell in the videos) a really great guy but...Bike Touring Mike is also a 'poop-ologist'. 😊 Thanks for putting these videos out Mike...really like them!!!!
Love your videos. Thank you for sharing your love of cycling and your vast knowledge with us. Just retired and looking to get into bikepacking. I live in central New York State. You should plan a trip to our Adirondack Mountains.
Hej Mike excellent videos as always. I must visit Sweden again. I loved the longer videos the quality just gets better and better. Can’t wait for your next adventure. Love to the family Ed
This was a great series Mike!! I really enjoyed it. I didn’t know there were so many different dialects of the Swedish language. The scenery was though the whole trip. You are fortunate to have all of the free camping options in your part of the world. That is not the case here in the USA. Most everything is private property and no trespassing.
Very nice videos, Mike! You don't seem to eat a lot...or should I say that the portions look small. Have you considered doing a video on the food you prepare and use on such a tour? Best wishes, Frank
Hello Mike, enjoyed watching the videos. Just a question about your bike. I have never seen the front brake on the right side and also the caliper at the front of the fork. It’s like the fork is the wrong way round? Why is it like that?
I have to be honest Mike, the lack of variety in scenery from Norway down make that first part of the EDT look a little bit dull in scenery. Am I missing something and doing it a disservice? The first Norwegian part looked interesting but after that it seemed to be just lots of forest interspersed with some lakes. Apologies if I am wrong, no offence to your country meant!!
You are right. The road from Kirkenis to Pokka is an asphalt en forest, from there it is gravel and forest. It looks and sounds boring, but i found it amazing. 😊
Yes it is! Haven’t seen a train there when I've crossed that bridge the times I've ridden over it, but it is still used by both passenger and freight trains. There are gates at both ends of the bridge. A pretty cool and unusual bridge!
If you already have some questions for the livestream, you can write them down in the comment section here and I'll try to answer them next Sunday!
Yes, I'd be interested in knowing how much of the footage you shoot you actually end up using. Excellent Video btw.
Don't your hands get tired with just one position? No bar ends, aerobars or other things?
Why is it that no one seems to use a rear rack when bikepacking? Not for panniers - but maybe to hold a slightly bigger dry bag. Love your videos.
That looks like a channel we looking for inspration. Thanks for your videos
Thank you! Glad you like what you've seen so far, and welcome to the channel!
You are the most pleasant TH-camr ever.
Thank you!
Brilliant Mike, many thanks. Great to finish on a dry day, that rain didn't dampen your spirits. Rock and roll ;-)

This adventure was great Mike
Another super adventure Mike, and another amazing advert for bike packing in Scandinavia. Absolutely beautiful.
Your minimalist packing and biking is what we strive for.

I'm very impressed with your English too. Idiomatic, full of phrasal verbs, absolutely impressive as are your trips.
Another great trip Mike. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks cobba
Peaceful.
Thanks Mike. Really enjoyed your journey. I hope to ride the northern half of the EDT one day, just need to find the time!! 🙂
Thanks for sharing your adventure. This is now on my bucket list of rides to do when I retire in 3 years time
Very nice videos, Mike! You don't seem to eat a lot...or should I say that the portions look small.

Thanks for the nice videos! Very much appreciated on a sunday evening... How do you fit all your stuff in these 3 bags?
Tack så mycket 🎉
Thanks for sharing your edt journey,Mike, why don’t you install fenders in such wet conditions?
To the reindeer, the car is just a strange relative to the friendly elephant
“Tastes like human poo” good thing did not step into that one… 😂😂😂
Mike, Excuse the pun - Bike Touring Attenborough - the poop master, 😂. Seriously, thank you as always
I used to live in glommersträsk near arvidsjaur. If you stop by Burträsk I may see you!
Hi Mike, Jan here, loved all your videos. Can you tell me, out of all your tours which is your favorite?
Hello Mike, enjoyed watching the videos. Just a question about your bike. I have never seen the front brake on the right side and also the caliper at the front of the fork. It’s like the fork is the wrong way round? Why is it like that?
The wet makes everything more difficult. On my 6 month ride it would be demoralizing but not enough to stop me
Are you going to continue EDT?
I have to be honest Mike, the lack of variety in scenery from Norway down make that first part of the EDT look a little bit dull in scenery.
Am I missing something and doing it a disservice? The first Norwegian part looked interesting but after that it seemed to be just lots of forest interspersed with some lakes.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Can you please estimate what proportion (approx. in %) of this trip was asphalted?
A lovely poop-torial to start another nice video. 😂
Pooptorial, I like that
Are you using tubeless tires?
At 0m50s, at pitealvsbron, is that a railway bridge shared with cars? Is it still serviceable?
Yes it is! Haven’t seen a train there when I've crossed that bridge the times I've ridden over it, but it is still used by both passenger and freight trains. There are gates at both ends of the bridge. A pretty cool and unusual bridge!
