Assalamu Alaikum! Very good talk. Just to mention, when dealing with very close relatives regardless of how closely related you are. If they cause chaos and mostly when dealing with them there is conflict, you do not have to put yourself in harms way. I heard a talk by Dr. Rania Awaad. When dealing with problem people, you can give them Salam and wish them a happy Eid; that is it. This is not cutting off the relations. The less you deal with them the better. Do not put yourself in harm’s way. She also mentioned that sometimes you have to confront the problem person because if you do not, your dignity goes down.
Is there a link to that talk? My family is Christian (I’m a revert), so I couldn’t say “happy Eid” or “Merry Christmas” but idk maybe there is some other answer. I have an extremely abusive father (narcissist), so I have stayed away from him for decades. Occasionally, I gain strength to talk to him, but I regret it for a long time because of the things he says. The emotional cost is extreme. With distance, I can forgive him, but if I’m in his “line of fire” then it’s a problem. I really struggle with this concept of maintaining ties when looking at such an abusive situation. May Allah forgive me.
I agree with everything this lady is saying ..I agree ! However ... when hurt is attached to seeking justice for the wrong that has happened to you it is so difficult to remain silent ... injustice over and again ..some would say be patient because there is a reward in it ..okay fine I'll be patient but the other person and people who have hurt you need to know what they have done and that's the hardest part because confronting them unleashes so many emotions ...difficult !!
﷽In the name of God, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful Dear Sister, your words touched me deeply, so I felt compelled to reach out in the hope that I can give you peace of mind 🙏 In Islam, forgiveness is highly encouraged, but there is also recognition of the right to defend oneself against continuous oppression. The Quran and Hadith provide guidance on both aspects: 🌸Quranic Evidence 1. Right to Defend Against Oppression: • Surah Ash-Shura (42:39): ► Arabic: وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَغْيُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ Transliteration: "Walladhīna idhā aşābahumu al-baghyu hum yantaşirūn" ► Translation: "And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend themselves." • Surah Al-Baqarah (2:190): Arabic: وَقَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ ► Transliteration: "Waqatilū fi sabīlillāhi alladhīna yuqātilūnakum walā ta'tadū inna allāha lā yuhibbu al-mu'tadīn" Translation: "Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors." 2. Withholding Forgiveness in Case of Continued Oppression: • Surah An-Nisa (4:148): Arabic: لَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلَّا مَن ظلِمَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا عَلِيمًا Transliteration: "Lā yuhibbu allahu al-jahra bis-sü'i mina al-qawli illā man zulim wa kāna allāhu samīan 'alīmā" Translation: "Allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allah Hearing and Knowing." 🌸Hadith Evidence 1. Hadith on Seeking Justice: • Narrated Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is oppressed." People asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "By preventing him from oppressing others." Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, Hadith 624 🌸Balancing Forgiveness and Justice While Islam emphasizes forgiveness and mercy, it also upholds justice and the right to self-defense. In situations of continuous oppression, the Quran and Hadith support the right to seek justice and defend oneself. However, believers are encouraged to avoid transgression and to seek peaceful resolutions whenever possible. In summary, while forgiveness is a virtue in Islam, it is also permissible to defend oneself against ongoing oppression and to seek justice within the bounds of Islamic teachings. Remember: Surah Al-Mulk (67:13): • Arabic: إن تَكْتُمُوا مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمُهُ اللَّهُ " وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَوتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ • Transliteration: "In taktumū mã fi şudūrikum aw tubdūhu ya'lamhu allahu wa ya'lamu mā fi al-samāwāti wa mā fi al-ardi wa allahu 'alā kulli shay'in qadir." • Translation: "Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent."
I been feeling the need to become selfish. I want to be mean because mean people get away with so much. I’m tired of being nice and putting other people first. I keep doing the right thing and it’s soooo hard because it’s not what I want to do but choose to do for the sake of Allah. I’m constantly putting myself last and everyone can see it so they take advantage of me. This makes me appear weak. Subhanallah I didn’t even search for this video I haven’t watched it yet but I know it was meant for me to see.
There is no need to allow people to abuse you in Islam. Allah SWT is the most Kind so of course he does not expect us to be taken advantage of or be mistreated.
This is very very essential topic and who did the question really very good question the way she thinks that can realize only those are going through such situations .May Allah help and protect us.
Allah Almighty Exalted Above the heaven Above His 'Arsh: (Above The Greatest Throne), Everything is under His knowledge, control & vision. There’s a difference between having ill feelings towards someone out of jealousy and a dirty heart and between the concept of loving and hating for the sake of Allah. As Muslims we shouldn’t hate a person for his skin colour or something natural that the person hasn’t chosen himself. As Muslim’s we love whatever Allah loves and whoever He loves (the believers and truthful) and we hate whatever Allah hates and those whom He hates (the disbelievers in Him and those who turn away from His path ect.). The Person with a sick heart is the one that hates a person for his body shape, his attainments and gains and so. All something that stems from his evil heart, But the obedient and loving servant of Allah is the one who loves and is pleased with Allah and with whatever and whoever Allah is pleased with, and he’s the one that hates whatever and whoever Allah hates. A person is either doing good or not - according to his own will - so he is either pleasing Allah or not, So these feelings of love and hatred for the sake of Allah is something important as a Muslim
I’m a revert so forgive my ignorance, but what if a family member (non-Muslim) is always abusive, to the point where any contact would bring extreme darkness into my heart? How do we protect ourselves then? I have tried to maintain contact but every time I try, I am so upset for days. The emotional cost is extreme. If I stay away from them, I can forgive, but if I’m in contact, then it’s bad… May Allah forgive me. Thank you for sharing knowledge. ❤
It is okay to keep a safe distance from people who continue to hurt you, you have to protect yourself and your mental health, may Allah swt bless you and your loved ones with Afiyah ameen 🤲🏽
From what I understand, nowhere in Islam does it forbid us from limiting our time with toxic people (yes even our family members. Go out of the house with non toxic Muslim friends if you toxic family lives at home.)
Someone hurts me daily but i am going crazy on others . Gow can i be stop being negative person! How i should stop myself being scarccist. , how to stop being adopting negative traits ?

With all due respect, You must read or handle a letter from a lawyer or you suffer legal consequences. There are many ppl we must face whether we like it or not.
I think the letter was kind of a Separation/divorce papers...so the woman knew that he wanted a divorce but the allegations about why he wanted the divorce are the hurtfull things that she avoids to read as theyre hurtfull especially if they are not true....but I am Just guessing... Sometimes its more important to get the general Idea behind this lesson than think about every little detail
@MJ-rr7dw No, I've worked with a family law company for a few years, legal aid document services don't deliver "feelings" on paper. They're summonings to court hearings, PFA's, custody agreements, statements, etc. If you don't read it and do the instructions given...you'll get arrested and fined. On top of that, you lose/forfeit your rights. You don't play around with the law.
You know that in every country there is a different kind for divorce process...and as far as i know in my country there need to have a couse of divorce...as i referred in my comment above...but nevertheless it more important to get the essence of this video and to take care of oneselfs heart...my Intention was not to diverse Attention from the lesson, as we are doing this with this conversation...so i wish you the very best and goodbye
I have a question. For e.g. in the case of syeddina Abu Bakr, did the man who hurt him ask for forgiveness or accept his mistake? I want to understand how to forgive someone after they've hurt you deeply, when they dont even realize that they've broken your heart.
Asalsalam alikum warahmatullah wabarkatuhu, forgive them for sake of Allah, say to Allah I m forgiving him or her for your love for you sake so that you will forgive on akhirah , you don't need to say anything to that person. Eh Dina As sirat Al Mustakeen Aameen May Allah put the words in heart n mind n soul n bring in our life.

Better go to Pakistan they would show how to be kind & stay pure heart if someone hurts you. This is Hindustan. We had more than enough headach with people here ever since Mougal era & after attaining independence. Now, we lost total patience & torerance with you people. Despite granting Pakistan most of you remained & causing lot of nuisense.
Jesus Christ taught Humanity that, True God loves all Humans more than a mother loves her infant child... Religions including Islam taught that, God will angry if humans will not do certain rituals related to that Religion...!!!
Ummm in Islam there is a saying we have that goes something like this, "Your Lord has more mercy to His servants than a mother has to her own child." The perception you have of Islam is incorrect, Christians and Muslims have a lot more in common than you think. Muslims also believe in Jesus, and we believe he was born from a virgin mother.
1. Make dua QS 59:10 2. 2:26 "Learn to protect ur heart. Your heart is like an expensive diamond you have or vase 3. Forgive & pardon, don't u want Allah to forgive you QS
@@LiamsFlick I appreciate your good intentions in fixing the error, but I'd like to rectify it further. The word comes from "allatheen" 'those who-' with "le" added before al, meaning "for". so it becomes "for those who-" and it continues with aamanoo (believed). Thus the proper transliteration would be "Rabbana, la taj'al fi quloobina ghillan lillatheena aamanoo." "Our Lord put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed." The difference is quite large, as j, z, and th (pronounced as in 'the') are different letters within Arabic, in both sound and shape. It is still fine to substitute th for another letter if you're unable to pronounce it, and if that is so, I am certain you try your best to achieve it. I implore you to remember to write the most accurate pronunciation and continue doing your best to speak and pronounce proper Arabic during prayers and duas. May Allah bless us and you, and may we see you in Jannah, in sha' Allah.

I'm not even Muslim but I love listening to this lady because she addresses issues that affect all of us, and she teaches us how to be better people. Yes, so important to protect our hearts. She also appears pure and sincere and presents the kind and loving side of Islam. I hope she does not have hatred in her heart for any people, including Jews, otherwise her messages of love and compassion would be pure hypocrisy.
A Muslim should have a sense of hatred towards the enemies of Allah. And people who kill Muslims -are the enemies of Allah, so we have to hate Jews who harm Muslims. But the video talks about Muslims, that is not to have hatred towards Muslims
@@Glycaine That not true. Jews are not following the commands of Allah and if they did so they would be Muslims. Allah has ordered every human being to worship Him alone and abstain from polytheism in all its forms. And He also ordered us all to follow and stick to what the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came with - and to leave everything that contradicts it and goes against it. So they’re not following God (Allah).
@@Glycaine The followers of prophet Moses who believed in him and worshipped Allah alone without associating partners with Him… they were considered muslims by Allah. But those who came afterwards and went against Moses teachings and denied prophet Muhammad and Jesus - they’re considered to be disbelievers in Allah and not righteous people. So we must understand who the Quran are talking about when stating that they’re people of paradise and so. It’s only talking about the people who followed their prophets at their time and those who didn’t deny or reject any prophets or scripture and so. But the Jews of today and the Christians have committed kufr (disbelief in Allah) by associating partners with Allah and by rejecting prophet Muhammad - and not following him and submitting to the Quran by believing in it and sticking to it. When prophet Muhammad (saws) was sent every person was ordered by Allah to follow him and his guidance - and whoever goes against by not believing and by rejecting and so, he is considered a disbeliever in Allah. Even though we call them “the people of the book” - what’s meant it that they received a book from Allah (the tawrat and injeel) ordering them and so, But these books are not in their original forms.. they’re been changed throughout time. So the only scripture which is intact and without changes is the Quran which is muhaymin (something that took over and is to be followed now instead of anything else). So they’re still called the people of the book - but not because their scripture of today are the same as before or that it’s acceptable to follow it instead of the Quran and so, But it’s to be understood that they are a people whose ancestors were giving a book of Allah and that those who are there today ascribe themselves to that (even though it’s full of changes and not accepted to follow now because of people have been changing it and because the Quran took over as a law and scripture to be followed).
I always love what she's wearing, mashaAllah. I want those beautiful white cotton/linen (natural fabric) abayas she always has on. I mean... They're so elegant, graceful, and beautiful.

However ... when hurt is attached to seeking justice for the wrong that has happened to you it is so difficult to remain silent ... injustice over and again ..some would say be patient because there is a reward in it ..okay fine I'll be patient but the other person and people who have hurt you need to know what they have done and that's the hardest part because confronting them unleashes so many emotions ...difficult !!
﷽In the name of God, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
Dear Sister, your words touched me deeply, so I felt compelled to reach out in the hope that I can give you peace of mind 🙏
In Islam, forgiveness is highly encouraged, but there is also recognition of the right to defend oneself against continuous oppression. The Quran and Hadith provide guidance on both aspects:
🌸Quranic Evidence
1. Right to Defend Against Oppression:
• Surah Ash-Shura (42:39):
► Arabic:
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْبَغْيُ هُمْ يَنتَصِرُونَ
Transliteration:
"Walladhīna idhā aşābahumu al-baghyu hum yantaşirūn"
► Translation:
"And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend themselves."
• Surah Al-Baqarah (2:190):
► Transliteration:
"Waqatilū fi sabīlillāhi alladhīna yuqātilūnakum walā ta'tadū inna allāha lā yuhibbu al-mu'tadīn"
Translation:
"Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors."
2. Withholding Forgiveness in Case of Continued Oppression:
• Surah An-Nisa (4:148):
Arabic:
لَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ الْجَهْرَ بِالسُّوءِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ إِلَّا مَن ظلِمَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا عَلِيمًا
Transliteration:
"Lā yuhibbu allahu al-jahra bis-sü'i mina al-qawli illā man zulim wa kāna allāhu samīan 'alīmā"
Translation:
"Allah does not like the public mention of evil except by one who has been wronged. And ever is Allah Hearing and Knowing."
🌸Hadith Evidence
1. Hadith on Seeking Justice:
• Narrated Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is oppressed." People asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."
Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 43, Hadith 624
🌸Balancing Forgiveness and Justice
While Islam emphasizes forgiveness and mercy, it also upholds justice and the right to self-defense.
Remember: Surah Al-Mulk (67:13):
• Transliteration:
"In taktumū mã fi şudūrikum aw tubdūhu ya'lamhu allahu wa ya'lamu mā fi al-samāwāti wa mā fi al-ardi wa allahu 'alā kulli shay'in qadir."
• Translation:
"Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent."
MašaAllah.. I love dr Haifaa for the sake of Allah..😊 Selam from Bosnia and Herzegovina..

ربنا لا تجعل في قلوبنا غلا الذين آمنوا
This came into my feed exactly when I needed to see it! May Allah reward her!💕

All something that stems from his evil heart,
But the obedient and loving servant of Allah is the one who loves and is pleased with Allah and with whatever and whoever Allah is pleased with, and he’s the one that hates whatever and whoever Allah hates.
A person is either doing good or not - according to his own will - so he is either pleasing Allah or not,
So these feelings of love and hatred for the sake of Allah is something important as a Muslim
Asslamualikum,JazakAllahukairan
I’m a revert so forgive my ignorance, but what if a family member (non-Muslim) is always abusive, to the point where any contact would bring extreme darkness into my heart? How do we protect ourselves then?
I have tried to maintain contact but every time I try, I am so upset for days. The emotional cost is extreme.
If I stay away from them, I can forgive, but if I’m in contact, then it’s bad…
May Allah forgive me.

Girl…you. Took nothing away from this
I have a question. For e.g. in the case of syeddina Abu Bakr, did the man who hurt him ask for forgiveness or accept his mistake? I want to understand how to forgive someone after they've hurt you deeply, when they dont even realize that they've broken your heart.
I too want to ask same question
Asalsalam alikum warahmatullah wabarkatuhu, forgive them for sake of Allah, say to Allah I m forgiving him or her for your love for you sake so that you will forgive on akhirah , you don't need to say anything to that person.
Eh Dina As sirat Al Mustakeen Aameen
May Allah put the words in heart n mind n soul n bring in our life.

With difficulty
There are people who don't believe in death
it's difficult for a person
to attain the status of a
HUMAN yet they claim
There are MUSLIMS i am
no body,i beg from ALLAH his mercy/rahim/fazal/kram that i die a MUSLIM
And that is why I've not left this room in 12 years. And yet the heart went rogue, in isolation, the pain was and still is such, unbearable. Indeed this world is a gutter. And then I look at Palestine; and I'm convinced of the futility of this s show.
Surah al Noor ayah number please?

• Dr. Mustafa Khattab:
Do not let the people of virtue and affluence among you swear to suspend donations to their relatives, the needy, and the emigrants in the cause of Allah. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love to be forgiven by Allah? And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Ok I apologise again
I'll marry in Pakistan
Mashallah sister much beautiful in old age wear hijab cover the face and dont appear publicly
Plz i want to follow her on telegram.. Any help
I will advice you to read at least 1 chapter of the Quran and you will realize that how wrong you are
Ummm in Islam there is a saying we have that goes something like this, "Your Lord has more mercy to His servants than a mother has to her own child." The perception you have of Islam is incorrect, Christians and Muslims have a lot more in common than you think. Muslims also believe in Jesus, and we believe he was born from a virgin mother.
Jazakallah khair 💯
I can't believe.... Going through the same situation and it's on my feed....... Ya Allah! I Love you ❤️
Exactly!! Same here...
True :,)
Same here
Allah knows our needs and answers in different ways, Alhamdullilah
Same. Alhamdulilliah.
1. Make dua QS 59:10

3. Forgive & pardon, don't u want Allah to forgive you QS
“Rabbana la taj’a fi quloobina gillan lillajina amanu”
This is not correct. The correct version is. Rabbana la taj'al fi quloobina ghillal lillazina aamanoo
@@LiamsFlick I appreciate your good intentions in fixing the error, but I'd like to rectify it further. The word comes from "allatheen" 'those who-' with "le" added before al, meaning "for". so it becomes "for those who-" and it continues with aamanoo (believed).
Thus the proper transliteration would be
"Rabbana, la taj'al fi quloobina ghillan lillatheena aamanoo."
"Our Lord put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed."
The difference is quite large, as j, z, and th (pronounced as in 'the') are different letters within Arabic, in both sound and shape.
@@Kohi_of_Greed Selamun aleikum to you and @LiamsFlick, both of you, dont do this never in your life, to write Qur'an ayah in English or French or any other language, this is vorbiden.

Which ayah of surah noor ?
Why would she hate Jews? She's Muslim! Jews are people of the book, they're not here for us to be angry with, we follow the same God ❤
@@Glycaine
That not true.
@@Viggo-hd1zb but they're called the people of the Book in the Quran thoufh aren't they? Or is this talking about past Judaism?
@@Glycaine
The followers of prophet Moses who believed in him and worshipped Allah alone without associating partners with Him… they were considered muslims by Allah.
Even though we call them “the people of the book” - what’s meant it that they received a book from Allah (the tawrat and injeel) ordering them and so,
But these books are not in their original forms.. they’re been changed throughout time.
So the only scripture which is intact and without changes is the Quran which is muhaymin (something that took over and is to be followed now instead of anything else).
So they’re still called the people of the book - but not because their scripture of today are the same as before or that it’s acceptable to follow it instead of the Quran and so,
But it’s to be understood that they are a people whose ancestors were giving a book of Allah and that those who are there today ascribe themselves to that (even though it’s full of changes and not accepted to follow now because of people have been changing it and because the Quran took over as a law and scripture to be followed).
I always love what she's wearing, mashaAllah. I want those beautiful white cotton/linen (natural fabric) abayas she always has on. I mean... They're so elegant, graceful, and beautiful.
