Yeah man ive used all that stuff, im still a bit old school and prefer to try and rub everything rather than rely on a promoter. They do work well but i dont have any of that on hand so its gotta be rubbed 😅😂 he definately wants it in the shed, not bad for a bloke that carried on when i bought it haha
@@vautorefinishing7672 yeah fair enough mate, just wondered is all, have had success with plastics etc with the bulldog in particular but you can’t beat thorough prep work!! I guess we will all be like that when we get older, funny but difficult! 😂😂
Looking good man love the vids. Did you 1k prime the plastics or 2k prime? Only curious because iv had reactions with my external trims. Scuffed them all and prepped then plastic primer then 1k high 5 then scuffed then 2k base and clear over the top. Maybe I should of used 2k primer to stop the plastic releasing into the 1k primer. That's painting but 😂
Cheers man, i actually didnt prime these at all. The paint was in pretty good condition so just went straight over the top. Yeah you have to be carefull mate using the high 5 over a plastic primer they tend to fight each other. If i was going to prime i would be only using 2k primer and only plastic priming if its fully raw plastic dont be concerned about little rub thru’s to bare plastic more often than not it will bite you in the ass. Yeah thats painting mate sometimes things go wrong beyond our control
Legend thanks heaps mate. A mate told me the same thing. He thinks the plastic didn't like the 1k and suggested to try again from scratch with 2k primer to stop the reaction. Got to love plastics sometimes I guess haha. Only reason I'm high building my opera frames is because it's a vs and need to fill some spots. You know what the vr vs frames are like haha. They look horrible after 27 years
