Hi Lee (MacMaster). My wife & I from High Peak, Derbyshire love your videos and everything you do. I would like to just mention that we hire a duo-mobility scooter because of my wife's health. It enables us to see more of the area, from our base at H10 Las Palmeras. We actually take great care to give a safe distance to all around us and respect others. We have noticed on our last 3 visits to the Adeje - Los Cristianos area that a number of other mobility scooter users don't drive carefully. Very aragant and selfish. Not everyone is a careless person. Keep up your brilliant videos and we'll keep enjoying. 😄

Went to Los Christianos for first time.. never again very disappointed..too hilly and those scooters..can think of better places for 4 and half hour flight

Looks lovely. Been to Tenerife recently but did not encounter the problems with the e scooters thankfully. My thoughts are, “When in Rome”, and have the best holiday insurance you can get ! Also noticed a lot of disability scooters riding quite fast on those pavements. I remember once nearly getting reversed over inside my local supermarket by a disability scooter reversing out of the check out queue to rush to a new check out that had just opened. Think Tenerife is probably a lot safer than the U.K. Absolutely loved our trip there. Everyone was so nice and friendly. DrZ🙏🏻
Hi Lee great video nice food/drink at The Winchester give that 9.5/10. Food looked really tasty&fresh. I totally agree with you on scooters to be honest weather there rental or private only place for them on the road,should be able walk on a pavement/footpath etc safely without fear being run into/over. As you said in video title genuine danger of death with these scooters. Shame don’t do Tenerife anymore but enjoy vlogs from there&understand why don’t do vlogs there are lots of vloggers doing videos there virtually every day👍
Always go in Lily’s and the Winchester, great food and service, where you did the conclusion is one of the best restaurants in the area for an evening meal in the seahorse 👍👍
back in the 70s the hire of Vespa's by holiday makers: no crash helmets and a few pints on gravel tracks wearing shorts was common as were the plaster casts on the aircraft home
El Puerto restaurant in Porto Colon great BREAKFAST every time, will be driving down to Tenerife next week from Santander to Huelva then ferry to Santa Cruz, happy days.

It's same here in Leeds. Walking on footpath a lad on an escooter came whizzing up from behind and clipped my shoulder badly bruising me. Nothing broken but hurt for weeks and made it difficult for me to use my arm. He never stopped either. I hate the things.

Nicer sandy beach in Benidorm, looked a bit stoney in places there, but always great to see the sea, love it ! Mobility scooters a bit more sedate in Benidorm compared to the scooters, but we do have these scooters in the UK, watch out pedestrians...........Fish finger sandwich looked very nice though :)

Hi Lee, just got back from costa adeje had a beautiful room with a sea view at the front of The Hovima Costa Adeje Hotel but saw 2 horrible scooter accidents on the road just below our room near the unique bar both late at night absolutely awful to see Lee 😫

I was picking my 86 yr old dad from hospital , we were exiting the building when a massivly obese woman riding one at reckless speed crashed into us . My father is very inferm as he has later stage Parkinsons was thrown violently to the floor , then this golliath menace had the nerve to shout over her shoulder as she sped off " Get out of my way you old fool " . My dad was left with a 4 inch gash on his leg & had to go back into a&e with a further wait of 2 hrs & regular home visits by a local nurse . No joke , if your only reason for using one is lazyness at least watch where your going ! A
Stepping off the bus tonight with my elderly infirm mother we were both nearly taken out by an inconsiderate cyclist on the pavement without lights going at speed. Another two seconds getting off we would have been struck. Cyclist had no care in the world like these scooter riders.
Gotta disagree to be honest. Sorry to here about your dad but an obese person is most certainly in need as obesity causes mobility issues. The people that don't need them are ones like the family of 4 that flew past on 2 double scooters at start of the video as they are clearly perfectly OK to walk. Also those ones you rent via the gps app as Lee said quiet rightly should have a cycle lane or else ban them. Simple as that they are crazy dangerous. I've seen them in other islands work fine on cycle lanes. Let not forget cyclists are every bit as dangerous on a pavement to be fair

Bit late watching this episode but yes scooters. Norway has loads of them. My son lives in Stavanger with his lovely lady and they have one each....I used one and came a cropper! Thought I had broke pelvis or something but luckily didnt, they can be very difficult to handle!!
I don't know why but when your filming on the sea front it always reminds me of Seaham Harbour a sea side resort in County Durham if you didn't know mind I have not been there since I was a nipper and Harold Wilson was prime minister.

@@doughall8727 you’re kidding yourself if you think they can go faster than a bicycle 😂 most of them are capped at 15mph. Bicycles can go as fast as 35mph. High maneuverability is a good thing, that would mean you can react much faster to your surrounding and avoid hazards. You’re just being a Mr.Grumble for no good reason

As someone who travels a lot for work, I rely on these a lot when I am in new cities as a faster way to get around and at much lower cost than taxis. They’re also much better for the environment and mean I don’t have to buy and own a scooter myself. The solution to new technologies shouldn’t be to ban it when someone starts misusing it. Better regulation for riders and companies will benefit us far more

Mobility scooters are a menace in Benidorm they are everywhere and used by fit, healthy people. You walked a long way to get a meal that’s over 2 miles.
I think those scooters would be too slow to safely use on the roads, unless you're driving around in Wales that is, and I believe that's the long term plan for the reduced speed limits there, electric cars wouldn't need such big batteries thus reducing their cost, but they should reduce the speed of hire scooters used on pedestrian side walks, it less people use them as a result that further helps reduce the problem.
I think people with private ones are more sensible. They are using them as transport and not racing around and also don't want to give them a bad name. Hire ones people don't care.
We’ve just returned from our annual visit to South Lake Tahoe. They’ve got rid of those accursed electric hire scooters because they’re dangerous and get dumped all over making the place look untidy. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Time for other places to follow. What’s happened to the beaches in Tenerife. We were last there about 20 years ago and the beaches were great - they now look awful. The fish finger sandwich looked excellent

Yeah bora bora €1 pint, the bloke outside is mental lol, cant get them in los Cristianos anymore, €1.50 - €1.80 now, was there a couple of weeks ago in the heatwave, 40 degrees, it was mad so bora bora was great for the €4.50 cocktails 🍸👍
Well I was almost mode by a guy on one of electric scooters on the way to Tescos the other day Lee and what worried me was the fact that if I didn't have a backpack on my back then he could have easily whipped it away from me with my two Apple IPhones inside it and not to mention my purse and other stuff would gone as well Xx
I like watching your vids on Tenerife and Benidorm but personally I wouldn't go there on holiday as theres no Spanish culture just English bars pups packed with English etc. as your vids are interesting insight in all the colourful characters you meet there. I live under mile from sandbanks Dorset with lots of beautiful beaches theres even a nudist beach 😂 so it's not like I've not seen a beach in years. When I get a min I'm going to watch your vid in Gibraltar as I went there a for couple of days when I was 20 when me and a girlfriend went travelling around Morocco and got a ferry from Tangiers, I thought the place was great with the apes halfway up Gibraltar. Benidorm reminds me of Blackpool in the sun.

Absolutely, beer in the morning is a must. I always think that those that have a few beers in the morning into the afternoon and back to base by say 5 or 6, are not the ones rolling out of pubs starting fights and making a mess at 1 or 2 in the morning. Electric scooters? Menace to society. Malta is banning the hire of them, and will be clamping down on private owned ones .
was the same last month in Belamadena.. fit people hiring mobility scooters but can run from scooter into the local bar faster than Usain Bolt. Just lazy gits who cant be bothered to walk.

In Majorca where I holiday there are bicycle lanes for the bikes and scooters much safer for us pedestrians. Enjoying these vlogs Lee xx

Paris recently banned the hire scooters but did not ban privately-owned scooters🤔

When I get a min I'm going to watch your vid in Gibraltar as I went there a for couple of days when I was 20 when me and a girlfriend went travelling around Morocco and got a ferry from Tangiers, I thought the place was great with the apes halfway up Gibraltar. Benidorm reminds me of Blackpool in the sun.

I always think that those that have a few beers in the morning into the afternoon and back to base by say 5 or 6, are not the ones rolling out of pubs starting fights and making a mess at 1 or 2 in the morning.

was the same last month in Belamadena.. fit people hiring mobility scooters but can run from scooter into the local bar faster than Usain Bolt. Just lazy gits who cant be bothered to walk.
