Yes that's true I guess since in past Armwrestling was dominated by west side we had John, MMT, Devon, Dave, Jerry, Travis, Ron bath etc just demolishing everyone all of them were at or close to their prime east had some good guys too but on an average they mostly lost and then came Denis a monster his genetic was one in a million and yet he took gear making him even greater

The match that had with Semerenko, that time of era John Brzenk was a titan. You can watch the full fight, Brzenk was absolutely demolish poor Semerenko, his power and hand control level was just absurd. I think 2005, John was in his supreme shape. His wrists were thick as a tree trunk, his chest were wide his shlulders like boulders, his hands were like goddamn showel. This man has the ultimate genetics for this sport. His hand control level in this sport was just another dimension. The man simply is a Professor.

That match was really something John dominated him so much that I felt bad for Semerenko that version if John for me is the prime John not as explosive as 20-25 year old John but still super explosive with strength and endurance to back it up honestly that version of John would have been a serious contender for rank 2 today

Devon beat John in 2008 and I know John was injured but id say a 2005 John would beat Devon in any shape or form. From 2008 onwards he did loose the occasional round and it would have been close with. the modern version of Devon
One of the things I've noticed watching all of these videos is that John Brzenk is always gracious both in victory and defeat - a ferocious competitor, but a true sportsman as well.

John Brzenk is an absolute living legend. Sure he's lost matches, but the man has cemented his status dominating the sport for over 40 years often beating guys who are much bigger than he was during his prime. Sure there are other arm wrestlers who are more popular/well known or better ambassadors for the sport. Longevity, accomplishments, status & universally respected is what defines John’s legacy as the GOAT. Even now at age nearing 58 soon he is still a beast for his weight class. He is indeed the perfect storm ⛈ 💪 🔥 🐐

@@amirsharoni Would have love to see that..........All Levan is is huge with performance drugs. We saw what he was before he roided up. And I think Levan is great...so powerful. But it's a trick he will not be able to pull off at 60 like John.
@@amirsharoni I think prime John would have a chance in round 3 of a super match and maybe win 4-2, Levan has more horse power but far less stamina but id still bet on Levan 60-40, however equalise the PEDs John would beat him like a ginger step-child.
