One of the first games I ever played with my dad when I was young. brings back many memories
This game was awesome and unfortunately the last good Tak game.
I used to play this growing up with my younger brother, the multiplayer was actually really intuitive and I liked playing as lok since I always thought he was funny.
It’s a shame we’ll never see another Tak game, especially since the awful TV show ruined Tak’s image.
Never say never, My Friend! After all, they said the same about Crash and Spyro not too long ago!

They probably would've had more free reign over the franchise and make more games and no chance of the awful show being made
I remember the show being popular
I think this game served as an inspiration to A way out and It takes two since this was the first game,I played, that required you to work together with a partner to progress. Not to mention playing with another person was much easier, and better than, playing with an A.I partner.
@@IYamJayJay Trust me it wasn't. It only lasted for one season. Not to mention it killed the series because instead of following the games genre, which was usually an adventure, they decided to make into an everyday life genre with too much slapstick, comedy, and Tak making stupid mistakes.
It’s a shame the show didn’t do better. The concept art is awesome and you can tell there was a lot of talent put into this property
The show didn't do well because it didn't have the vibes present in the games- Tak went from a snarky straight-man who had a rapport with Lok to a whiny child who kept fumbling the bag despite being half god.
There were some decent things about the show but the two main characters from the games got botched so badly that they were completely different 😭

When Nickelodeon announced the official series, I was so disappointed when the majority of the original jujus were gone because the new Jujus didn't make any sense and the humor wasn't the same as the games.
Let alone, only Patrick Warburton reprised his role as Lok!

Aside from the McDonalds happy meal that i remember seeing for the promotion of the game, this actually was the first Tak game ive seen my friend play and what got me into the franchise as a whole.

I agree with that wholeheartedly! I can only hope THQ Nordic can one day revive the franchise, but until then I’ve got all three games in this trilogy AND each game’s respective strategy guides!

My thoughts exactly! I’m mostly disappointed with the cartoon in the sense that they messed up some of the Jujus’ voices, (Mindreader Juju, Especially), the lack of Moon Juju and Tlaloc, (mostly with Moon Juju, Tl appears as Traloc), and the stupid stories! How about you?
