Hi Lance, Thanks for the look at the splitting stand, looks quite simple to make as long as you can weld, very effective too. A bit of C channel and a length of all thread with nuts, I thought it was more complicated as others I have glimsed at are for many different tractors all in the same model. we'll have a go. cheers Derek
Hi Lance, really like those splitting stands might build myself a pair like that to suit my fergies.. you might have to get yourself a 148 they have that extra bock in the middle. I have one myself and she’s on 14.9-28 on the back and 750-16 on the front, she’s a very comfy tractor to drive and she’ll do 40kph Keep up the great work! Really enjoy your videos!
The 148 seems harder to find over here, there is a few but they dont come up for sale often. I was thinking of the same in tyres on my trekking tractor it should keep it all reasonably level.
Be fascinating to see how the 188 compares. I would have assumed, because the 188 is so much larger and more powerful than the 135 that everything would be scaled up. Good series of videos. If all else fails you could become a dentist.
If you still have this, how much do you want for the diff lock pedal parts and the support bracket, shipped to the USA? I've been looking for years. My right axle case number on my 165 is different from the official parts book, cast axle in book is 1865918m91 mine is 1862966m1. From what I was told being mine is a 74 they were changing to new tractor models and decided to use up parts in the warehouse to make room for the change over.
I should have built a stand like that for my 1020. Stay safe Lance. Keep smiling
Its a handy thing and fits a lot of things
The 420 looks good back there, I like the stands, quick and easy!
They work well to.

Easy to make and fits many things, you can bolt it to a gearbox or anything with a couple of bolt holes.
Hi Lance - another good stew - hope you manage to use some of the 188 parts on your 135 Multi-power, should be interesting - stay safe!
That's the plan! Im a bit keen to see what fits and what doesnt for future reference.
Thank you for the stand info
Any time! I hope it helps.
Hi 188 were a good old tractor we fitted a dozer blade to one for cleaning rubbish
They were, I always hate wrecking a tractor but buying it like this I dont feel so bad about it.

I have had a good look and I think things will bolt right up but yet to prove that theory.
Enjoy your 188 MECCANO set Lance! 🤣
I will! Looking forward to the fiddle
Very smart stand, will copy them if you allowed?
Feel free, good ideas should be shared.
That Massey sure looked to have lived a hard life.
Yeah as a water winch as an anchor for the last part of it. Sugar Cane irrigator anchor.

Ill check some numbers but I think the freight would be over the top, these are heavy parts.
There was far less of the MF188 than i imagined...
Yeah but for a few hundred it has the parts I wanted to try out on other projects.
Oikota pea a jecha jaicha
Thankyou.
