    For whitewater, we often do not have anything permanent on the canoe. If a painter is needed for lining, for example, we would tie a throw rope to the grab loop and take it off again afterward. Safety being more important than speed, there is always time to set things up before proceeding, and having things tied to the canoe impedes rescues.

    Oh man your videos having been real handy, I’m from the U.K. and moved to Georgia in the USA and the amount of water across this state got me really into canoeing

    The length of a mic windscreen is slightly larger than the mic. JK Adam, great info as I'm prepping for a trip!
