A big job taking it apart and getting it ready for restoration! Nice new project.

A big hole in the speaker as seen from after removing it. Dang kids were always poking the grillcloth with stuff back then. Might be why it was designed to be removed like that. Radio works good. Two different chassis for this model. One
was a 21Z1 the other a 21Z1A. Guess the difference was the horizontal output tube as you discovered. This stuff you
couldn't read on the schematic says "V406 is a 6BQ6GT for a 17" picture tube and pin out for it is shown to the right" of
the speaker symbol. They were always updating stuff in mid production runs and hopefully the SAMs will help greatly!

I think a Bakolight TV without cracks it shows that it don't have many hours clocked on it because it's the heat from the vacuum tubes that dry out and crack the Bakolight.

I can't wait to see you tackle the yoke cover! I remember you doing one several years ago.
A quart plastic paint can lid/pour spout if I remember right. I bet you can slide the grill
cloth over a 1/4 inch or so to expose the un-faded portion to keep it original looking. Of course
I realize you may recorded this weeks ago and the project is already completed. I have a set with a dim
picture tube and the brightner makes it look new. So few shows are watched on the set it should
last many years. Fun vid as always !
