@@jessicaloveofficial I thought awhile before deciding to make this comment on a public forum: For your cough, pls consider lotus root fresh, the lotus powder, fresh ginger, fenugreek tea- seeds, elderberry. There are many others, and lots of herbal-medicinal and culinary combos. All our organs work synergistically w one another, but the lungs and large intestines and liver are something to look into, and do some online research about. Lymph system, as well. This woman is so strong to speak out, I've been through similar myself, at 13 was in a grooming gang and by 18 I was in jail in Holloway watching rose west in the garden every morning, I've never spoken to anyone about everything that happened in my life as I can't even find the words, not even to my partner of 6 years so it takes alot of courage to speak openly like this especially on podcast.. I just want to say that this Woman could almost be Princess Catherine's sister she is so gorgeous. God bless her. I contributed towards rescuing a Silverback Gorilla once. He was kept in a shopping mall in Tacoma Washington USA. The owner had his Mother killed so he could take him as a baby for a pet. He used to ride all over Tacoma with him on the back of his Motorbike until he got too big. So he put him in a cage in a basement in his shopping mall. The only flowers and trees he ever saw until we won the case, were painted on the wall of his basement cell.
After many many letters from activists, the owner agreed to let him be taken to Zoo Atlanta in Georgia.
He never cliqued with other apes but lived in a lush outdoor environment for a few more years. His name was Ivan. 😊

@@jessicaloveofficial I am not vegan and I think as human species we are omnivorous but as I am aware of the situation I try and buy meat consciously. I know you might not agree. I don’t think we need to eat a steak everyday and if we were all making more conscious choices we would send
The all food industry a message. I don’t buy any milk because we really don’t need it. Especially as it is forced out of These poor cows in huge quantities thanks to antibiotics , steroids etc…Because morally also in the vegetable farming so many things are off. This is my reason for eating everything … but I think every time we purchase something we are at the same time making a political
Statement ! So I admire you for your activism and I love the fact that you were able after all of this trauma to come trough the other end. I lived in London for 1992 to 2003 parting in my twenties as there was not a tomorrow. I could relate a lot. Now I am a mother of 3 teenage boys plus two rescued dogs ( my kids complain that they are my priority, I answer that they had it easy compared to our two dogs so to shut up) and things are not black and white . It is impossible to be morally perfect and also balance the food shopping for a
Month with 6 people. My mom depends on me and my husband as well.
So we try to do our best .

Perhaps if your son, like most other children, knew the truth about where the meat he loves actually comes from and the process that takes place from Farm to Plate, he would perhaps be able to make a more informed decision. There are some very good, somewhat hard to watch, documentaries out there which are a great start.
Also, my tip is ANYTHING your son loves can be made vegan, so for instance if spag bol is his thing then there is now vegan mince in most superstores. Vegan steak, nuggets, sausages, burgers, ribs, pulled pork, all have plant based replicas and although I advocate for a much more alkaline diet using mushrooms and other vegetables as a meat substitute, these on the market now are a great way to transition for a meat lover.

As she was talking about her childhood traumas, something came to mind. It's a Bible verse that says something like this:
"The sins of the father are visited upon the children."
Which means that the fathers' sins, of leaving and abandoning their families, especially their children, leaves those children vulnerable to all sorts of predatorrs and dangers in this world.

@2:17:00 Shaun, I think it is a dangerous thing to let someone live out that fantasy.. sure, there will be guys who just want to fantasise, but there will be some that will get adicted to it, and we all know how mindless adiction can make a person.. so a scare of being caught is probably the best solution to someone who is falling into the fantasy of statutary/actual rape.
Also, since I paused the vid to comment, I will say this.. Char is such a great person to have been through what she has been through and to make good of it. I am a meat eater, but I also do hate to even hear about animal cruelty.. ohh man, she is close to persuading me to look deeper (even if I hate seeing what I find).
    Much love you two!
Ohh FFS Char, you might have got me to look at the meat industry. Keep up the great work, both of ye
p.s. perhaps Char could pair up with a whitehat hacker to properly scare some of these really lost individuals, sometimes a good scare will work.. I'm sure of it. I must say, that it is possible that drugs and temperary mental illness may induce such behaviour from some people, who otherwise could live a less dark life. Yep (sorry just paused again at 2:23:00), maybe just breaking character and speaking to a potential peadophile to council them, and learn more could be a thing.
Ok.. gonna watch it through now lol

That appears to be true, so all of this encouragement of degrading objectification of others and of oneself is harmful to all of society, imo.

In my belief system God didn't create this world with suffering and this body is an illusion.
I believe we're here to find forgiveness and that God's love is of pure oneness and non judgement.
That means accepting that people get to choose how they express themselves as long as it doesn't cause harm and only aligns with peace.
The artist that did most of my tattoos is one of the most talented men I have the honor of having do my artwork. He is also very compassionate and kind. So the story of the tattoos that I decided to put on MY body is one of love, strength, truth, peace, recovery, honor and connection. (And autonomy of course since it's my skin and my choice.)
I honor and respects God's will everyday by looking after myself in a variety of ways.
This is all personalised work (see the portrait of my dog on my hand, the lyrics from my cousins song, the facial work that's done from my Tattoo ARTIST'S freehand skills. (If anyone wants his details message me on the IG LINK)
I think investing time in seeing all beings as an extension of God and finding forgiveness in our judgments towards others (rather than starting a contradicting sentence with "no judgment") would be most useful right now.
I thank you for engaging and wish you well. If you like art you should really explore the sensational talent of some tattoo artists!

@@jessicaloveofficial I started my sentence with "no judgement" because there is none. It's not my place or desire to judge others that's our Creators place to do that. I do see beauty in many tattoos I just think all natural with nothing covered up on the body is more beautiful. It's simply a matter of different tastes that's all. The tattoos on your face I find quite lovely, but I also think your face is very beautiful and would be still if you didn't have the tattoos, but they don't take anything away from your beauty and as I said I think they're lovely. Just personal preference that's all. Nothing more. I considered getting one myself some years back but I thought better of it as it seemed everyone was getting them and I like marching to the beat of my own drum and decided I'm more unique without one. As I said before it's just a matter of personal preference that's all. Wishing you the best as you've certainly been through it and have come out the better for it and seem happy, content,at peace and at a good place in your life. Thank you for sharing your story, it takes courage to put yourself and your life out in the public forum. I'm sure you're a source of inspiration for many and that's a wonderful thing! Take care Char and thanks again for sharing I really enjoyed hearing about your life experiences! GOD Bless you and your sweet dog!!🙏

@@jaelkalashnikov3833 I know you did. It's deflating that out of all the extensive personal stories I deliver in this interview your immediate thought was talk about my tattoos and how you hope I wouldn't get anymore. How me getting anymore tattoos affects you in I'm unsure. God doesn't judge. My creator only knows love.
I happen to have a different believe system to yourself. Mine involves acceptance of others in all their various creative forms and expressions. I encourage individuality with or without tattoos.
Thank you for the kind words about the actual content of this interview in your last paragraph.

    Tattoos were practice in primitive
tribes, slaves, sailors, marking properties like cattle, prisons,
    W.W.II - German's concentration
    camps & criminals.
    TATTOOS ALWAYS had
    NEGATIVE IMPLICATIONS.
    Then TATTOOS somehow became
POPULAR with TEENAGERS & young ADULTS as if cigarettes, drugs &
    alcohol wasn't enough.
Despite being popularized by T.V., movies, commercials & social media
    TATTOOS meaning hasn't change.
    TATTOOS overall have NEGATIVE CONNOTATION.
