You mention here really wanting there to be mods for this game. I have news for you, I am in contact with a VERY talented modder who is taking commissions for dreamcast games to mod. Would you perhaps be interested in banding together with me to commission them to do all kinds of cool stuff? I'm gonna start with getting them to fix some of the bugs in the game and add some quality of life stuff. Then wild stuff like new characters (Rhino dancer, anyone?) being added. I can vouch for the modder since I already commissioned him to do stuff for space channel 5 and he completely reverse engineered a lot of aspects of the game to do so.
@@The16-Bitdude the time in most levels is very generous so if you have a decent route most are pretty easy. But if you've never played the game before and start with the practice mode, doing 50 tricks in a row can be tough, it took me like 40 minutes learning the games movement so for me it was also the hardest part of the game
I got this one pretty easily on first try and it made me feel like a legend, what a create game, 100% it 2 times in a row. This game and it's sequel/remake are something else !
Yeh I did verify it when it happened, but it seemed to be a computer specific problem. On my other computer, this crash happens from time to time, on the computer which this gameplay was recorded, the crashes happen a lot more frequently. Also recording increases the chances of crashing, bad luck overall xd

So a small correction: The flag for getting grabbed is only permanently added if you get grabbed and finished that stage, if you just pause and retry after getting grabbed and then beat the stage without being grabbed the achievement will still work, no need to completely close out the game and reload a save. Not sure if Onishima bumping you counts against the achievement as I'm pretty sure he bumped me plenty of times as I tried to knock him over to spray him and it still worked (though I'm not 100% positive, It's been a while since I did it :p. I was going for all Jet as well and enemy point bonuses for spraying can help in some levels so I usually made sure to spray the enemy at least once per stage.)
Yeah, I kinda cheated and Alt+F4 to restart in the last run xd I wanted to do legit! The Onishima bump was something I read on some forums, it wasn't 100% confirmed, but some people mentioned only getting bump by Onishima throughout the game and didn't get the achievement.
@@VilifiedOne It actually doesn't, at least on the steam achievement. Just finish the game without anyone latching on you. Jet Set Radio starts over from the beginning each time you beat the game so it's easy to assume it means during a story run.
I dont want to brag but I just finished replaying the game, and I got this achievement, I wasn't even looking to get the achievement. Hardest achievement is tutorial 😭
well according to Steam, this is the hardest achievement and the tutorial is the 17th hardest. I actually found the tutorial okayish took me around 10 mins xd the detached achievement might have taken me longer because I was conscious of not getting caught. I swear I had playthroughs where I only got grabbed once and it was in the last shibuya-cho level.

Yehhh I remember that happening to me, but it was on the elevator that was touching the ground, on the one you need to jump to it never happened

Might go for this one today. This game is easy asf if you play it for speed.
This achievement is easy if you use speed tag and alt+f4 every time you get grabbed.

It's kinda hard if you do it how the game is intended to be played. If you use speed tag and alt+f4 it's pretty easy xd

How come you didn't just start from the last save?
