Amen! I have had to cut off people because they behaved like this. I wanted restoration but they were bent on being right and controlling me. It is so very sad to see people choose this destruction.
I needed to hear this very message. For almost 10 years now I've been battling a severe chronic illness called Chronic Fatique Sydrome. Often so sick and weak for months at a time that I could not get out of bed to care for myself. Often I felt the Lord had abondoned me and I prayed "Lord please take me before I wake up to another day of suffering. Signs of the Jezebel spirit affecting your life: *Strange and bazaar prolonged sicknesses. (Including prolonged sinus problems.) *Suicidal thoughts *Fear (especially of confronting the Jezebel spirit in yourself or someone else because of the reaction you'll get). *Exhaustion *Sexual immorality or thoughts *The Jezebel spirit (the controller) cannot operate without an Ahab spirit (the controlled). *The Jezebel spirit is not gender biased. It operates in both men and women. Revelation 2:19-20
Often, people who have this spirit affecting them have to control family or people around them. This is rooted in rejection. They feel the need to control to prevent rejection. But in turn, it causes rejection. The very thing they didn't want. This is something you will feel intimidated to confront because they will freak out. Be gracious with the one affected by the spirit but aggressive with the spirit itself and pray against it.

thank you this is a great teaching. now i see why theyre saying jezebel is dangerous. i once was actually close to someone with this spirit. Everything he has taught one is true. The LOrd showed me how this woman was trying to control and manipulate me for her benefit, with no regard for me. After she was exposed, her tongue of flattery turned into bitter, mean, nasty curses toward me.
i let the Jezebel spirit take over. I committed adultery with my husbands friend. I have confessed and repented but i still feel i deserve to be alone because of me tolerating the Jezebel spirit. I know what is right and God has blessed me with talents of visions and dreams. i prayed forgiveness but i seem to be having trouble to forgive myself or feel i am worthy of anyone to love me again

To say that because I don't feel comfortable confronting someone indicates a likely Jezebel spirit is putting my fears on someone else. There is NO fear in God. ANY fear I experience with people is something I must take to God immediately, get through, and then move forward in love and faith. If I say that fear is because someone else is working under a "Spirit" then I'm going to end up accusing people to make myself feel better about my fears. Also... it's just more drama than we need.
You as a believer has authority over the jezebel spirit. Go into prayer and fasting and begin to systematically bind it and weaken it and cast it out, also get ready for backlash in some form because the evil spirits are personalities and they will get offended and angry when you come against them. Your spouse does not need to know you are doing this, or any of this for that matter, or he/she will get offended. Correctly discern what spirit it is and make it leave your marriage.

This was the first time a lesson on Jonathan and David's relationship and Jonathan's eventual death has ever made sense to me. From the very first time I read about it them there was something nagging me, but I never understood it till now. Thank so much for uploading. I try to find sermons from Robert Morris when I can, but they are so scarce.

This guy is hitting it right on the head. I know of one large church, today it would have been a mega-church, but back then, thirty years ago, it was spread out in about a hundred churches. The leader of that church ended up getting divorced from his wife and marrying the "main intercessor" for him. That church even prayed for the death of this leader's wife. This Jezebel was his "spiritual wife." Crap. It was simply sin, they tolerated that Jezebel spirit. That Jezebel married this leader, and he died, so the second in charge married HER. Well, it's a long story, just another cult out in California and Iowa, don't matter now.
