You can also copy the link then highlight the word and just command V. It will create the link right over the word. Great video.

Great tutorial like the others in this series.
I suggest another type of link that I discovered.
How to insert a link to a note in a task manager (Omnifocus or others).
If I need a reference to a note in my task manager I do this:
1) I select the title of the note I need and create a link to the title itself
2) With the right mouse button I click on the title and choose copy link
3) I paste the link in my task manager and when I need it with a click the desired note will open.

I believe that since macOS 15.1 you can (finally) right-click from a link and open the linked note in a new window. I think it's worth mentioning here.
