Vintage Books Live! with Laurel Gale

If you've had middle grade readers in your home over the last few years, you many know Laurel Gale for her charming, quirky middle grade novels--Dead Boy; Monster, Human, Other; and Story Magic. Her picture book debut, Robots Don't Make You Go to Bed, releases October 15, and we get to talk to her about it in this interview.
We chat about making the transition from novel to picture book, the process of shepherding a picture book from idea to book, and her chore list for a robot companion.
