Very nice rendition . Why there was a short version of citysswaram after charanam. I suppose Vijaya sarSwathi ragam has its roots of raga simhedramadyamam, urmika and marginal tinge of madhuvanti. Please enlighten about the raga
@@kalyanikarthikeyan3682 I sang the same chittaswaram after charanam, not a short version. I sang the 3rd line with different variations the first time. Vijaya Saraswati ragam is a janyam of Simhendramadhyamam. Arohana: S G2 M2 P D1 N3 S Avarohana: S N3 P M2 G2 R2 S This ragam is an invention of Sri Muthaiah Bhagavatar and as far as I know, there is no other composition in this ragam.
