Buses & Trains | Stoke On Trent & The Potteries | April 2023

A visit to Stoke on Trent and Newcastle Under Lyne also known as The Potteries after the Industrial Revolution. Having recently taken in a brand new batch of 12 Volvo B5TL's with Wright Gemini 3 Bodywork mainly for the University service 25 between Hanley and Newcastle these buses were also found on the 101 Knotty Route to Stafford. Unfortunately these buses have now replaced the Volvo B7TL's with Wright Gemini 1 bodywork and ALX 400 bodywork seen on previous visits.
Filming starts at Hanley Bus Station and moves on to Stoke on Trent Railway Station with a short clip by Chell before moving backwards and forwards between Hanley and Newcastle under Lyne and there is also a bit of train action at Kidsgrove after a spirited run on Northern Class 323 230.
