This isnt complaining, u are just spitting facts. I come from Pokemon TCG and i was shocked, when i saw how much money i had to spend, to compete in fusion world. Yeah u can play F2P, but soon or later u will just not enjoy the game, as a F2P Player. They have to change the whole System, as u already mentioned and make it F2P friendly + drop some Bans asap for Set 2. I started DBFW with Set 2, so i still enjoy the game overall ( after spending money lol ), but the game has way more potential and if they can fix those lil things, it can be such a great digital TCG.
The funniest thing is that you spend less money to get physical cards than digital cards, I already have my deck and I have to spend A LOT of money again to have the same deck in digital client, non-sense at all (at least for the players)
@@TheEgman Yeah the variants should all go towards the same wildcard points and you should be able to spend like 2 wildcards for an alt or something. Would feel so much better.
Sad to hear you won't be covering FW but i completely understand the meta is definitely too focused on one deck and that makes it less fun for everybody and the crafting system is terrible for certain lol I hope it get hits soon lol! Heya! Similar sentiments on the client. I opened about 200 packs each set. Set one was OK. I was short about two of the secret which did not matter. The second set I did not open a single android 17 across the 200 packs. This is making it really hard for me to support this game and push it locally.
Sad to hear, but understandable. Just hope that the team on this game can learn from this mistake and avoid it happening again moving forward. The thing I liked about this game was that it seemed to take the lessons learned from other Bandai TCGs (global release, online client, etc.) and do it the right way with this game. But they have massively dropped the ball with not addressing this TopKu disaster immediately...
Banning topku altogether is better for the game ngl, cuz kefla is not at all a problem, it literally costs 4, the leader is the problem and yeah making it 3 or less is ok and a good fix but banning is so much easier than errata
Yeah after seeing what I pulled from Set 1, I saw the writing on the walls for this card acquisition/ crafting system. I got out before I went any deeper.
Honestly I think two things: change Topku to a 2 life awaken. Secondly ban glimpse. Glimpse is what makes rebrianne so toxic. It also refunds Kefla for the long game against decks that should be winning. It also pushes damage for 2 energy. If glimpse was gone, they couldn’t gun me down while searching from trash the card they are going to use to win the game. I think that overall, these two changes are fine to bring the deck to bare. Also Roshi should be banned. It’s a card you must counter or all red decks just steam roll you to awakening. There is no counter other than drawing 1 drop Zamasu, Frieza rest or Kami to pop it. Just make awakening cost more for red if they are going to get this type of value. Those are my thoughts.
Client needs changes. You shouldn’t get repeats of stuff. And pack conversion is trash. Like the 100 packs I opened of both sets, I didn’t SRs hardly at all. I got more Kefla than any other card I want for other colors. Once you max 4, you should force get SRs of other things Before higher rarity keeps popping up so I don’t have 7 of an SR n 0 of another. SR ratio odds need to be drastically increased. Additionally, there needs to be diversity in play to reach upper ranks. Bans need to happen and prevent all upper ranks being Beerus, Topku n Vegeta.
So i was looking to get into FW. I don't care about online clients because they are always rigged. However i am struggling to get into the physical too because there are zero starters available. How can a brand new game have the mindset of selling out their gateway products, then not restocking it. FW feels like 'attention is being split'. It looks super low effort. So i will just get involved in Masters instead. Its upfront cheaper to try, plenty options, community driven remote play and it's still supported
I mean this is a good way to kill your game. This is set 2 of a new game. There should never be a teir zero deck. Which just tells me they're not testing their product and just shipping it out to line their pockets as quickly as possible. It's a very short-sighted business practice that plagues the world right now.
Didn't Bandai / Toei said that the game is paper first, online after? Blazing Aura came to online a bit after release in paper. Complaining about the meta right now like this I feel like it's only going to hurt the game, especially with such a growing channel like yours. We saw 2 Expansion Set, the card pool is incredibly small and growing pains exist in every new game. We're also still missing a color that we will probably see in August with the new starter. Tiers change incredibly quickly and that's perfectly normal. Look at Frieza, from being the boogieman of the meta to being Tier 2 at best. As a Frieza player, I find this perfectly normal. The game is growing and we need to let it continue growing. This kind of videos feel like blackmail more than expressing opinions.

Meaning the acquisition troubles are being investigated (we already got a patch that got them slightly better) but not a priority. Opening packs is still what they want players to do, not spending gems or using codes. Gems are probably just there to keep the servers running. 2- In the end it's your content and you are the one that controls it. My opinion was entirely on the fact that there's different ways to approach or explain topics. Currently the community is irritated about the game but most video fail to explain that the meta is so young that it just needs time (and more product) to produce alternatives to oppressive decks.
Between not being able to practice online and only having one viable deck I've given up on locals, which feels bad because I want to support the store. More night for One Piece I guess.
I got 100 code cards for set 2 from ebay and after opening all 100 there was a common card that I didn't get a single copy of. 😆 I only got to platinum in set 1 so I started in silver for set 2 and recently there have been a lot of different decks other than ToPku that I see. Been having fun playing around with your Zamasu Fused deck so far (plus some Goku Black).
Didn't sound like complaining to me. I said these exact same things about crafting when the digital client had that survey. And instead of fixing it, Bandai gave us pity packs for leveling up 😞
My buddy argues that TOPku is not broken and the decks are balanced. Lets say ive given up on our 4 person locals because after he built it another followed so now we have 2 TOPkus and a Beerus 😂
My personal experience was buying 200 codes for 40$ on release day and getting 90% of what I needed and then having fun playing a lot of different decks with the occasional topku showing up and probably losing if they play right.. I'm a simple man, that's enough for me ☺️
So sad it's going down in flames. I hyped up all my friends and bought starter decks and packs for so many people and everyone is so tired of it already.
Gotta also remember card games are money for companies. They want you to buy more to earn more. It sucks from a perspective of a player but if uou were a business, this is a model

Having 4 variants of the same SR/SCR is bloody insane.
I've yet to see anyone earn a scr wildcard ( or even have points towards one ).

Honestly I agree with getting into Star Wars Unlimited. It's pretty cool and different in terms of turn design. A lot of combos, etc

my current ban/errata is to make TOP goku ability to be 3 or less instead, let's hope we get something like that
