I’m so new to this game that I haven’t even copped my first dog. I’m in the research phase and your video was very informative and very easy to understand, Preciate you! And, I dropped a like
I’ve got a pied male (white and blue) and brindle female (black and chocolate) and we have a very colorful litter (2 brindle, 1 reverse brindle, 2 blue, 1 blue and chocolate, 1 tri color (black, tan, and white), and 1 tan)!!
Great post. So here's the deal: when you decide to avoid the structurally correct dog that is either brindle and/or pied and you CHOOSE to breed INSTEAD a less ideal (a.k.a. "PET") dog that has the "desirable" DNA color panel (rookie move), you have now bred the JV-string over your MVP. And when you do that for 3+ generations, all you've done is pick the second string to breed to the second string... overlooking the obvious... the actual DOG that you WANT. Most of the jack-wipes who post the "no brindle/no pied" matra have zero understanding of the genetics you discussed... and they are missing the boat. And they have "undesireable" dogs that are desireable colors and nothing more.
100%! My brindle boy is from a litter of ALL colors and patterns. His brother is Blue Merle (big boi) and was also adopted within our family. Their litter included a Pied boy and also a Cream girl.Their Papa was Blue Merle I think and Mama was brought home from Ukraine when their owner was in the military. They are all GORGEOUS and HEALTHY. No inbreeding and no line breeding. My only regret is we didn't bring the Pied brother home with us too. He was precious and I guess we weren't ready for WWE every day haha. They have the best structure and temperament I've seen a group of Frenchies so far. All dogs are wonderful but Bulldogs are just my spirit dog I guess. Ethical breeding is worth EVERY PENNY.
Great video! Thank you....This is exactly what my fiance has been saying for years... We chose a black brindle Frenchie for her amazing structure. We also had a black brindle from Europe that was sired by international champion that was amazing.
I just acquired a red brindle oeb and his is wonderful. He looks like a tiger and is so much more interesting to look at than all other of his siblings and they were pied. People love looking at him and compliment us daily. He stands out
@@BulldogBreeder thank you! We heard breeders don’t want brindles after our baby came to us. It makes us sad. His breeder never even advertised him. We saw our puppy in a video we were supposed to be looking at to get his brother. Makes us sad the breeder didn’t think our baby would be wanted.
