That last shot of beat looking up at Matt was adorable. Newfies were bred to be rescuing dogs -in water specifically- which is why they are so strong and have thick fur. I met a guy who owned one a few weeks back; he said that he has to be careful when taking him to the beach to make sure he doesn't go chasing after a child in the water

It was _Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe_ BTW, there's an electric dig nail groomer. The dogs still tend to not like it (more because of the sound it makes), but you don't run the risk of clipping off the live part of the nail.
Newfoundland are fantastic dogs fun fact the original Nana In Peter pan is actually a Newfoundland not a saint Bernard also they use to take Newfoundland and tie ropes around them and they would help ships get onto shore so they are very strong swimmers they actually have a special paddle where they sort of do a breast stork. there such lovable breed great with children they do shed a a lot thats because they have a double coat I believe they are winter. if you LOVE massive dogs and don't mind shedding and vacuuming more often I recommend getting one.
I would like to add that they are indeed great with kids! As a child..many years ago, one of my fondest memories is of my Uncle Bill's newfie. I used to ride a cart around harnessed to that dog. It would just run and run. And one time, as a stupid child, I went running for the street...that wonderful dog put its body between me and the dangerous street..leaned in...basically telling me No!,,get back in the yard! I love newfies! My only current regret... I do not remember its name :-(
I felt so bad that the camera guy wasn't able to help wash the dog and have a good time playing with him. They just had to film and watch Kim have all the fun.

i did dog grooming for a bit and we some time put a towel over the back of the dogs heads so it on the ears and this can help with the drivers
