There's something about the way the GT characters are presented in both Fighterz and here that shows that there is a respect put on them despite their canonicity now being up in the air. GT Gogeta looked like the strongest character on the Fighterz roster, and here, Omega Shenron still feels like a true final boss despite being surrounded by the likes of Lord Beerus, Golden Frieza, Fused Zamasu, Full Power Jiren, and Super!Broly.

Kinda wish he had that one attack where he uses all the Shadow Dragon’s ability. Aside from that, I’m glad they also brought back the voice filter for him as it was absent in XV2 for some reason.
That's because of the way it was done. You couldn't really tell what was actually happening and the sound effect was the same as basic attacks rather than a key blast
Anyone else notice that he clenched his teeth before he finished eating the dragon balls? 1:36 All but the first 2 just clipped through his teeth. Other than that I think they did him really well in this game. He was one of my mains in BT3 so I'm really glad that he's still awesome.
I feel like Omega's moveset should've reflected the other shadow dragons. Or maybe an Ult where he uses most all of the attack powers of most of the previous shadow dragons before ending with the negative energy ball, though maybe that would be too long? You know if that was CC2 though, it would look IMMACULATE. But basically they just copypasted BT3's moveset but gave them a facelift. That's okay I guess. Though I think Syn's ult should've been the red kamehameha looking blast he used on Goku in the theme park.
0:45-1:01 I know 2nd Form Frieza & Nappa have this for supers, but Syn Ultimate might have them beat right here. 0:00-0:08 Why does this music make Syn's intro line go even *HARDER?!* Heck, this track True Form fits Syn/Omega to a *T* IMO.
Couldn't they just give Syn Shenron the Kamehameha times ten like in the anime? Omega Shenron's first attack should be a rush too where he showcases all the abilities of the other shadow Dragons. Or maybe a super where he uses Eis Shenron's eye ray to freeze the opponent, use the wind to launch the opponent to the sky and then Dragon Thunder from the finger.
Omega does not care about trap shotter but in sparking zero at least all trap shotter supers connects, all the energy balls land in the target unlike in BT3.
It's funny a decade ago you said the throw was shit but in reality that was the throw he performed Also liked how the voice change between syn and omega shenron
Okay seriously what is the song that Omega uses in this video. I haven't bought this hand yet but that song honestly goes oretty damn hard ngl, this game has a really good soundtrack if Omegas's videos are using it. Edit: it's called True Form!
For a character with as many unique attacks as Omega I feel they should’ve skipped the whole “ultimate from the last form is now a super” thing and gave him an all new move set. And one of his blasts should’ve been the lava shield that makes you take damage whenever you hit him.
I love the concept of the Shadow Dragons being consequences of overusing the dragon balls. But I never understood why Omega or even Syn Shenron was so much stronger than the previous foes Goku’s fought other than the plot needed him to be. It’s not like Shenron was that powerful.
I think because it was the most altruistic wish maybe? Syn was born from the wish by Mr popo to revive everyone killed by Frieza and his men on namek, and then Syn ate all the dragon balls to become omega, so he gets all the previous SD’s abilities plus a power boost.
I feel like in contrast with the last moveset shown this demonstrates the inconsistency of quality. This guy has an AWESOME moveset for the most part with solid pacing on attacks, a great sense of impact and overall decent variety with the points against it coming down to personal taste (Frankly, not a fan of Dragon Thunder here, I much preferred it in BT3.). It's clear this guy got a lot of love and time put into him but then you get Baby where he can be summed up as "Well... we have anime references so effort?"
I feel the moveset has cinematical flare but still generic. I would have liked more stuff from the anime like Syn using Kamehameha times ten and Omega have another special over his first one that showcases all the abilities of the shadow dragons.
@@Realdeal958 It's presentation. A real problem with Sparking Zero is that while the game looks beautiful? It kind of half-asses a lot of elements when it comes to the supers and ultimates. A lot of them don't have the impact and flair they should have. Baby is a prime example of this. On the one hand, they did finally give him Revenge Cutter, that Ki disc he attempted to throw at Oob. The problem is it's kind of limp, it doesn't have the flair or impact it should have.
@@M3rtyville Frankly I don't mind the lack of the Kamehameha, he doesn't need that at least to me.
