I go over every detail that allows you to start a siege, where to get the items required to destroy enemy bases, as well as how many items you'll need to craft and destroy walls or doors to gain access to enemies treasures. is there some sort of cooldown from when ur castle got attacked till it can be attacked again or do you potentially on pvp servers have to defend every 8 minutes for 4 hours on weekends aslong as they have scourgestones to waste?
Important update to note; golems are now currently immune to sunlight on official servers
Finally! That was SOOOO dumb to have to deal with.
What I want to know is, how long does it take to break a wall with a golem vs how long it takes to break 3 gates.
Playing on a PvE server, and recently they changed the settings so Raiding is enabled. Now people can just get inside and steam stuff without any effort. Seems really boring so I will probably switch server, but have to start all over then I guess.
I came back to my base without anything destroyed or any sign of infiltration and had no clue how they got in. But still they had looted some of my stuff. Not everything but some.
Tried this first time today btw I had to walk in full sun to get to another part of the base and I was surprised to find it didn’t burn me at all- no beam of death! Also we hacked quite a few doors with our weapons which you can do after the raid starts.
I have a question!
Since many many many servers are "filled" with castles, and there is practically no space for you to build one, is there the possibility where you can destroy another person's castle heart and take the space for yourself? I know that i happens on Full Loot PVP but does it also happen on pvp?
That way you can start with a 2x2 or a 3x3 base anywhere on the map, gear up, raid a base, get the space.
Official PvP servers do not allow destroying and or taking of castle hearts. Only on full loot servers is this allowed, unless you find and join a Player owned server. That is if he/she has settings tweaked in favor of taking and or destroying castle hearts in normal non full loot PvP severs. You also need 1 castle key to destroy and 3 to take over a base, and don't forget you need the appropriate level key for the size of said base.
@@CJ_1995_ We joined a PVP EU Official server and we found a good place to start our base, now, i do not know about T2+ areas, and IF there will be any good places, but for now, it's a start. Although i feel like there should be another mechanic about bases.
For example: "If the heart is in Decay, it is vulnerable to being destroyed and/or taken over by other players". So people should be more active and take care of their Castle hearts. Thanks for the info CJ
Golems are useable by ANY of your Clan members (e.g W, X, Y and Z are all in the same clan : if any of them spawns the Golem any and ONLY one of them can use the golem anyone outside of said clan will NOT be able to get in)

Can you use a copper key to destroy a level one base?
You need one copper key to destroy a level 2 and below base and three to take over
can I invade a castle with explosives only?
Depends on server settings. Some require you make a siege golem.
does doors have less hp than walls ?
Yes, but I don't know the exact numbers

Raiding and late game are the weakest parts of this game definitely need reworks or addons to the mechanics
I agree completely. When I was leveling up and exploring I thought to myself this game was gonna consume all my free time for a very long time. Then I reached lvl 85 and suddenly everything changed. My clanmates stopped logging on altogether. The server has slowed down considerably. World pvp has become a giant expense that doesn’t benefit you whatsoever if you already have best in slot gear and weapons. I love this game so much but endgame is a baron wasteland and its a soul crushing realization.
