Easy and Perfect way of setting mileage, I did the same as showing in the video I got 1.6 for 20ML. I took initial mileage it was 0.9 then after turning the air mixture screw to half turn left and adjusted till i get desired mileage of 1.6 for 20ML Petrol. Don't over turn the screw to left or right follow the instructions given on this video it will work for every one. Thanks.

The screw you are messing with is Air / Fuel mixture screw. Closing it ( Clockwise ), makes it more lean and opening it ( Anticlockwise ), makes it more rich. The recommended turns from completely closed is 2.5 turns, give and take a couple of turns. And the idle rpm for Pulsar DTSi is 1400 rpm. Please don't mess with the VC screw unless you know exactly what you are doing. And calculations based on fuel in carburetor is not even close to what can be called approximate. Just a pointer, no hard feelings. Cheers.
Is the setting of 2.5 turns default for all Pulsar 150 cc bikes and not individualised?? I have experienced that RPM fluctuates a lot if Air Fuel mixture is not set properly and hence a stable RPM means optimised fuel setting.

Sir, Thanks for this video.. It's really great. Please answer my questions. I have pulsar 150 dtsi 2008 model. 1. If I increase mileage, will it affect on the power? Will the power decrease as I increase mileage (I heard something like that.)? 2. How to increase the power (I found that the power is slightly low when I climb hilly like roads.) 3. Is setting the mileage works as in the Fuel injected engines (Just a curiosity :D ) ? I hope you will answer my questions. Thanks once again..
ans 1. you have heard right obviously if you give lean fuel to bike it will produced the standard power. ap per claimed. 2. there is no way increase the power of a bike, until you have made few mechanical changes i.e. wheel size change 3. since FI doesn't have fuel volve therefore we can't set those engine.

I m facing severe morning start problem. Bike got start without chocke in one crank. But it can't sustain more then 10 sec and same thing going on. But if I pull the chock lever bike never get started on self or kick. Today I told SVC guy. They check the battery and battery is OK. aap ke methad se milage nikalne 55 to60 tak milage hai par pulsar 150cc hai par pickup kam lagta hai gadi ko turn karne par ya chadhan par 2nd gear me lena padta hai nahin to jhatka marti hai esliye pickup badhane ka koi trika ho to avashya bataye dhanyawad bhai
Hmmm that's a nice question... it will surly work if you have found your plug is full of carbon... clean it and then follow the video. i hope it will work. :-)

okey then do one thing.. watch this video once more then set you carburato at that pint (around 70%) whare the rpm is maximum. say for example if the highest rpm is 4000 then set it on 3200 rpm. by that you will get the maximum Power.

Sir mileage usally steady speed me modrate k saath he nikala jata hy...!! 50-60 ek ideal mileage hy ager sab kuch well maintained hy to dy bhi sakti hy. you can try.

New bike me is settings ko apply nahi karna chaiye untill 10,000 km of running... or ager sahi set ho jaye to isasy koi nuksaan nahi bulki bachat hoti hy.. :-)

Now my new problem. ... I hv a ns 160 2 moths old. I m facing severe morning start problem. Bike got start without chocke in one crank. But it can't sustain more then 10 sec and same thing going on. But if I pull the chock lever bike never get started on self or kick. Today I told SVC guy. They check the battery and battery is OK.
So can u please explain why I m facing such issue. ...is my curborator have problem. Waiting for ur reply sir...
This is very common problem in winter.. relax just try to use Power petrol that would solve a partial problem..

mera pulsar 150 ka mixer screew 2.5 kula hua hai koi bolthe hai ki 5 to 6 chekkar kolna hotha hai bolthe hai 2.5 pe raktha hu tho milage 1.5 km dhetha hai 6 chekkar open karke rakne se bhi 1.5 he dhetha hai ye kaise hora hai my ab kithne pe rakhu bathaye plz aur my plug jab bhee koltha hu tho kala colour me nikaltha hai aur thoda sa gila bhee plz sugest kijiye plz.
Exactly aapko lagbhag 3-4 round ghumana chaiye per kyooki mene apki bike ko dekh nahi hy isle aap ek baar is video ko fir sy dekh kar jaisa isme suggest ki hy wais karo..

That a nice question battery indicator is usually show the power of battery (only if the battery is low) of not in charging.

okey then do one thing.. watch this video once more then set you carburato at that pint (around 70%) whare the rpm is maximum. say for example if the highest rpm is 4000 then set it on 3200 rpm. by that you will get the maximum Power.

Sir mileage usally steady speed me modrate k saath he nikala jata hy...!! 50-60 ek ideal mileage hy ager sab kuch well maintained hy to dy bhi sakti hy. you can try.
