First heard about this group in 2001 on the Dave Koz radio show, featuring music from their second album Nocturnal. Didn't know about this first one until later. Just as cool and funky as Nocturnal. Have purchased all of their albums since.
I first heard it in 1999. A friend of my father’s had recorded a copy of the song (as well as the entire album) on cassette tape for my dad and one day my father and I was riding around and he decided to play it for me. I was 15 at the time. It blew me away. This the type of music I like listening to live in an intimate setting somewhere.
I know it's mostly the acoustic piano that takes the lead but there's just enough electric piano to make it anotha slick retro track to add to my Fender Rhodes funk playlist
At the break down @3:53 I always sing with the song 'Do it, do it. Do it 'til ya satisfied. Whatever it is.' Lol. It sounds like BT Express' song "Do It 'Til Ya Satisfied".
