There actually is; the game will automatically kick you out if you’re afk in multiplayer or an online garden ops match However, since this is considered to be a private match (split screen mode), the game will never kick you out.
You must end the game in some way, either by completing the game as you normally would or losing. Quitting the game will cause you to lose all your progress. It is also important to note that the game will only save every wave, so you must kill the final zombie for wave 1 to save your progress. The best thing to do will be to jump into the water and end the game after the bar for wave 2 shows up.
Hey again! Unfortunately, this still doesn't work for me, but I found another map you could make a video about. There's about a 7,000 coin difference, raking the coins per hour to 22,000. I'll try to explain it simply as possible: Step 1. Pick Garden Center, and play as 2 Metal Petals. Step 2. Plant the Garden that's in the middle. Step 3. Position the main account (the one that gets coins) next to the two far-away pots. Step 3b. It's not the pots that are next to the garden - it's the pots sandwiching an AC unit beyond the bridge. Step 4. Using the second account, walk in front of the zombies to gain their attention. Step 4b. Try to get at least 3 to follow you. Step 5. Take the sideways stairs. Step 5b. Don't go through the stairs that lead to the garden - since the zombies will start attacking it instead. Step 6. Position the secondary account in between two empty pots. Don't plant any heal flowers yet. Use the secondary's summonable heal flower to stall, but not the main. Step 7. Using the main account, get a zombie from the garden to follow you down the bridge. Step 8. Plant a Scaredy Shroom, and quickly boost yourself with the spawnable heal flower to get on top. Step 8b. Be careful planting the heal flower, because the spawn location is based on the Sunflower's position, and it may spawn on top of the AC unit. Back up, and look a little bit to the side. Step 8c. Time the zombie's attack with you jumping on the heal flower. If you're too slow, the zombie will attack it instead. Step 8d. There's a big chance the zombie will *somehow* fall off the ledge, so just restart from Step 1. The SS will stop hiding, and kill all the zombies. Step 9. Once the zombie targets the SS, quickly run back to the secondary account, and plant the heal flowers. Step 9a. Wait 4 seconds before planting the second one. Heal flowers heal 65 HP (13HP with each sundrop) every 8 seconds, so it's important to time this correctly. Step 10. Go back to the SS, and plant a heal flower once it's at half health. Step 10b. In this farm, the SS can survive with one heal flower, because the sundrops won't fly in different directions and miss. Step 11. Kill all other zombies except one. Make it follow you, and plant a heal flower for yourself. Try not to stand too close to it. Step 11b. Be sure to stand BEHIND the heal flower to guarantee you'll catch all of the sundrops. ...And viola - you're done! Admittedly, this takes a few tries to do, but you'll get used to it eventually. I won't be making a video about this - because - this technically is your idea, so I'm hoping you can make an updated version! Have a nice day.

I'd recommend just following this guide, except you have an extra zombie follow the main account and just stand by a heal flower. Really simple. I couldn't figure that out before, because it didn't work for me earlier this year, so I just had to come up with something else in the time being.
While that is true, this farm can be used overnight, and other times when you don’t have the time to play the game actively. For an afk method, this is extremely efficient
Your remotes can turn off, but you’ll need a way to keep your console on. If the game doesn’t disconnect you, the console will. My fix for this is connecting one of the controllers to the console through wire, so I suggest doing that just to be safe.
I have tested this numerous times and yes - this does produce 15k coins per hour. If you want to see how, leave the farm running for multiple hours, and then divide by the number of hours that the farm was running. This should eliminate inconsistencies and give you a ratio of about 15k coins/hour
This farm doesn’t require the use of the sunbeam. The coins are to be provided by the heal flowers giving health. The sunbeam used to never turn of, but was fixed many years ago to turn off automatically after 5 minutes to prevent coin farms. Luckily, we’ve found a way to bypass that with the use of heal flowers.
The only problem I have is that the other sun flowers that Iv tried at anytime if the sun flowers shoot there sun not in the sun flower direction and keeps doing that the sun flower dies any solutions
When you say other sunflowers do you mean a sunflower that isn’t metal petal? Because in that case yes it may not have enough health to survive before it gets healed. If you have a problem with the sun drops not reaching the sunflower then it’s just an issue with positioning, and just keep practicing.
It sounds like a good idea, but browncoats have been coded to be scared of chompers, and will sometimes run away from them. This causes major problems, since the zombies may run to the garden or heal flowers after being scared away by the chomper. Metal petal is the ideal choice since she has the highest health of all plants excluding chompers.
The only reason that metal petal is ideal is because of her higher health pool, but the farm can still be made to be just as efficient with other sunflowers, just that you’ll need to be more wary of health.

This is very useful, but even when I do everything right, it doesn't work for me. I either must have terrible luck - or EA has an anti-farm coding for zombies where if a plant doesn't die for an extended amount of time, they resign to attacking the garden. After a few times of seeing the end screen with barely anything, I decided to watch what happened. Turns out, I only get 5 minutes in before some stupid zombie decides to go after the garden, and I barely earn anything because they're hyper-focused on it instead of the plants. I'd really like this to work, since I don't just stay at home all day, so I might as well get free coins while I'm gone. Is this just a matter of RNG, or something? The AI is admittedly unpredictable, so I'm not sure how to adapt to it.
The farm works consistently for me for numerous hours, so it must have to do with your positioning. A possible issue may be that you are positioning your afk character too close to some of the zombies, and that is why they decide to retarget. See if you notice any differences between the video and your set up, and let me know if there’s any specific thing you’re having trouble with after that. Also, if you don’t mind… what characters are you using for this?

My main is sat on the rock to heal the Scaredy Shroom, while the dummy account is slightly in front + between the two heal flowers. Quite literally no difference. I guess me being a decimeter out of position could be the problem, too.

Unfortunately, only the Xbox 1 and PS4 have split screen. There is no way to get it on the Ps3

When finishing the game does matter if you quit the game or you have to let lose the game to keep your coins?

I think this is more effective than doing it normally and getting from 5k to 6k and rarely from 9k to 15k in 30 minutes

I’ve done this many times over, and positioning doesn’t seem to be exact. I’d suggest moving your main a little farther away and see if that works.
Or you look for an dead lobby so you can like garden gnome bomb and become every 4 minutes 5k
While that is more efficient, it’s not as consistent

@@Ivankdishs first you search for a game of gnome bomb and there are sometimes 2 or 3 people in and than you farm kills or you bomb the enemies garden
Only issue is that most people will get bored and eventually leave
To be honest I would try this, but I like to have a challenge to unlock characters, when I get bored I’ll probably use this
Personally, I only started using this after I had unlocked all of the characters and wanted to get more consumables

That’s most likely an issue with your tv, not the console. Take a look at the display settings for your tv and see if you can change anything.
