Simple, straightforward, no crazy music.
Well done!!
Now gotta (confidently) check my 97 Helix!
Thanks this helped out. I was looking for the screws. I’m trying to do free maintenance.
This is exactly what I was looking for - thanks so much. Just purchased a 2004 Helix in August 2020.
@@MacrossGarage yes indeed - not my first two wheeler [ Honda Shadow, Kawasaki Drifter, Honda Rebel all in the garage ] but my first for scooters! :)
Very informative video. Thanks for the content as usual Macross
Cool video bro.
What was that thing toward the top where it looked like you slid something or pushed?
What about that foam gasket if a filter does not come with one? have you seen such?
Hi. Great vid. Mine wont start, someone told me to use starter fluid. Watched other yt vids on starter fluid - so would i spray it in the place where the filter sits (remove the filter) or spray in to the opening the filter covers? Thx in advance.
You can spray it where the air filter sits but its always best to spray into the carb. This only checks for fuel which is usually the cause. Spark and air can cause an engine not to start as well.
Where do you get your parts for the helix?
Air filter link and part number in the description. If your talking about in general the. I go to any online parts website. If they don’t have it I usually google the part number.
If I was changing to KN pod. Is that where it would go?
I've never done or seen the KN pod but I am pretty it has to go in the same spot.
@@MacrossGarage just found a video from someone else but he has the Pod next to the carb 🤔
@@leanrambles7468 So they remove the tube. Let me know if it gives you more power.
Finally a good DIY with No music
Thank you.
