I was thinking about going back to pure analog the other day but now I'm def about to go back to it. I been noticing everything you talked about
amazing tip, pitching with pure analog feels so much better holy shit
I just use pulse and remember where my pitchers tend to miss and go off of that. If he tends to hang a slider, I’ll put the inside of the circle on the outside of the strikezone and he will either paint the edge or miss 2’ off the plate if I’m really unlucky so he can’t hit it anyways.

How do you get rid of the trail and just have the ball on the plate ?
This works really well thanks. I may have to turn off dynamic though, already to all star plus in 5 starts. And they keep fouling stuff off.
When I am playing two players offline, the analog target disappeared. Is there's a glitch to my game? But when I'm playing one player offline, the target appears. Please, HELP ME.
I'm new to mlb. Haven't played since PS2. Does it have anything to do with pitcher stats?
Yes it does, but it also has to do with RNG as well a combo of both. If a pitcher has better control the “PAR” is a lot smaller so if you get perfect releases he’s obviously hitting his spot a lot better too

I may be in the minority, but I can’t get the hang of pinpoint at all. I’ve done well with analog.
Analog is a move if you can use it properly. I use both, depends what I’m feeling that day, similar to my PCI lol

So there is no such thing as perfect pitch with analog?
If the you get the blinking line with “good” and then you hit your target exactly that would be a “perfect” but it doesn’t visibly show on screen like that

What is even the evidence behind “meta” pitching styles? what is the benefit of pinpoint assuming it gets patched? Hell for that matter what makes analog better than meter?
If we asked San Diego Studios I would have to assume these different pitching styles were just personal preference. Making one “better” than the others simply makes no sense game design wise because then everyone would simply force themselves to learn the “best” one
I switched to meter last night and it was a big difference I wasn't giving up but one homerun
Really it’s preference combined with accuracy, I don’t have full data but from my experience as someone who plays a ton analog is more accurate with good input vs the other 2.
