Love Lucca's accent. He makes the English language sound so soft and beautiful.
You stop at an amazing place with great views of a fantastic sunset. With great friends, miles from nowhere, and the next day you have STRAWBERRIES for breakfast, where did they come from. You are full of surprises. Great to see Frank out running around. Enjoy guys. HAPPY DAYS
Allie is especially funny haha , “you’re going to let frank drive and not me?! What is this!!?” 😂
THE EMPERORS NEW GROVE IS THE BESTTTTT😍😍😍
16:57 that's why it's called Altiplano ( high plain or plato)
Allie's positivity saves the day !
Allie never lets you down come on Trent.
Those mountains! That sunset! Words just can't do them justice!
So envious, I hardly ever follow anyone on TH-cam like I have followed you guys. 40 years ago my goal was to visit every state in the union, to me this was a lofty goal but what you guys are doing is just...... so cool. Good luck and safe travels.
Thanks James!! We really appreciate this
they definitely were made to be seen from the sky or very high up. Pancakes with strawberries prepared with such love. I love how Allie hands Trent the plate with such a loving smile and says with such sweetness: "buen provecho". That's the way to travel. ♥
One of the best award deserving vlogs on You Tube. Making me miss Peru so much🇵🇪
This is like a real life reality show. Y’all are coming through with the suspense, the drone shots, the edits, YES 😩😍😍😍😍
Allie to the rescue!
What a trooper you are...
Just fabulous! I live vicariously thru you guys and Sara & Luca....thank you for sharing.
Wow them sand dunes look amazing you won't forget them 👍👍👍
ok, these keep getting better and better over the last month. BEST video yet!
Trent definitely seems to feel more in control when he himself is driving. Maybe part of anxiety? I hope you can find small days of driving for Allie. Love the scenery and animals. I also fully appreciate all the efforts you both put out working with a drone and all the ups and downs of using one.
Tracey Jennings i was thinking the same! I don’t fault him for it - it makes him feel safer to drive so why not. 💕
Same here. Trent seemed slightly "controlling" in this video. Definitely a shift in energy...was wondering if it was just me noticing. Ali tried being extra lighthearted to mask whatever was going on. You two are my favorites so hoping all is good in the Trent and Ali world. Hugs!
Flipping Nic Note that Trent has anxiety when flying so it’s not a huge jump to see that perhaps someone else driving him could be uncomfortable for him as well. Anxiety is not about controlling others , but managing the anxiety itself.
@@traceyjennings4361 Agreed. It just seemed to me he was shutting her down some during the entire video. She didn't get to talk much. And she asked please please to go paragliding and he said no. It was just an off video for me. I still love them both immensely!
Flipping Nic yeah, keep in mind these guys vlog more than almost any other YT vanlifers so I think we see their partnership more closely! 😅 Everyone has give and take. I’ll never forget the infamous argument filmed by Eamon and Bec which I’m forever grateful for - people showing the real side of being a couple!! I hear you and I think we just see more of their lives and dynamic on any given day than we do most people. 😊
I think they should have a Love button! Great views and loved watching the video. Nicely done.
Have fun...stay safe and LIVE FREE....Love how you say LOVE YOU to us at the end of the videos. WE LOVE YOU TOO. thank you for sharing your life and adventures with us.
The breakfast the food looks absolutely amazing guys I can't remember the last time I had pancakes I normally only eat for survival not for enjoyment but you make every meal look fantastic lately
Thanks Jay! Food is meant to be enjoyed!!
Thank you so much for sharing! I'll never get to these places and appreciate your work.
All the best for your journey, stay alive and well.
The look Allie gave Trent when he said "Oh, no. You're downplaying it.", and launched into his description of events. 😄
would have thought some of the Latina culture would have rubbed off on Allie by now for her to shout "Callete estupido" as she hit him about the head. That's what the wife does to me when I explain for her lol
@@mrdub.303 I feel certain they had a chat about this later and Allie made her point.
She was downplaying it in retrospect.
Frank leading the humans up the dunes and trying to drive. Aliens! Glad you’re all feeling better. These countries are absolutely amazing. Nothing of what I expected. The campsite fabuloso !
Wow wow wow! Incredible footage! Some of the best yet!! ❤
1. ALLIE: share that pancake recipe! 😍
James King & the Jackhammers I agree with literally everything you just said! Especially number 3!!! 👌
Ditto!
I think maybe NM couldn’t afford to go.
“Friends in the desert”. Great title for a book or book chapter. Great video.
So excited about Machu Picchu! Great drone footage. What amazing scenery in the Andes! Love llamas! I am having so much fun traveling with you!
Amazing video.... the animals are gorgeous. It makes me feel so much better you are traveling with friends. Pls be careful. The altitude sounds crazy! The drone footage was tremendous 💗
I can be having a bad day, and then watch your video, and all is well again. Thank you.
That’s so amazing to hear!! So glad we can help brighten your days 😇
It just keeps getting better! Thank you guys. 🤗
Absolutely love the drone footage but have to admit I hold my breath every time thinking that the drone will be lost again lol.
Would you show where you are on a map? I am trying to follow along and learn more about the places you stop. Thank you for being you!
I second Beverly's request. SO many van life (AND sailing vlogs) do not show maps, or show maps but with a view so zoomed that landmarks are absent and so useless to us viewers. I assume that in most instances you are weeks ahead of video, so I don't see the security issue. Anyway, if personal security permits, would like to see more maps. All the best.
This should help you
14.8359° S, 74.9328° W
The lines have been there since someone purchased a ballon in the early 1900s
No Allens involved It was man made.
Aliens build pyramids, phone home machines & other large ( Easter island ) structures.
So say we all
@@drmachinewerke1 Sadly not apparent on google maps.
Great episode. You brought to me a peaceful vibe with this one ❤️. Beautiful drone footage. Now I need pancakes😍 with strawberries and a desert friends experience in my life. Thanks guys!
Great video, I enjoyed the adventure & am looking forward to seeing what y’all have planned for us tomorrow! May God keep all 4 of you & Frank safe & in His loving care🙏
Nooooo, I vote for longer videos. Thank you for taking us along on your endeavors. Can't wait for next video!!
TRENT (that's me yelling) lol you and drones crack me up. Love it guys. Thanks for your hard editing work.
Love going along for these epic rides! Take care of yourselves at that altitude. Love your wonderful traveling companions too! And Frank continues to be my favorite dog.
Wendy Cooper thank you
This video was so epic, I feel like I'm right there, the drone shots incredible, the countryside so amazing, I love what you do!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!❤❤❤
Ur putting a much needed smile on my face that the world can b beautiful. One love
I'm not sure who is saying you're going too fast but the content you're giving is amazing! I don't know how you get all the editing in but I for one am enjoying every minute! Plus Frank got to go to the dunes! Love Frank! Just do you. I'll be here no matter what!
I have never seen Allie so happy as she has appeared in these past couple videos. Beaming! Also, I hope you participate in an Ayahuasca ceremony while there. You will never be the same again, so inspiring, so revolutionary. I spent a week at a sacred plant medicine retreat center in Costa Rica and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Incomprehensible. Truly amazing.
ALL of you CRUSHED this leg of the travel adventure. Just Amazing and to end the vid in Van Lifers IOverlander Heaven has to give ALL a sense of Universal Community. Hopefully, All will rub elbows to Share their Journeys. Be SAFE ENJOY !!
Sand dunes......... brings back memories. When we lived in Japan ( five years) my siblings and I (9 total and 3 sets of twins) found an old barrel that had been thrown out into the woods . Well, my brother had the bright idea of us taking turns getting into the barrel , putting the top on , lock it in place and push the barrel off the first sand dune . We had to run beside it and try to stop the barrel after it picked speed , and before it went off the end of the first sand dune . If we failed to stop it we had our work cut out , because the next drop was the water. I don’t remember much more than that but I do remember when our mom found out what we were doing, took the barrel, cut it in half and planted our Christmas tree for next year in it . Wonderful childhood.
Peru is a magical land. I am glad you are discovering it. So much to see!
As a child we camped at 14, 000 in the mountains of Ethiopia and altitude sickness is a real thing. Another great video and a thumbs up always 👍
Yes yes yes. To be young again !! 🥰be safe and Enjoy
Very exciting video today! My favorite part was that precious face of Frank when he knew you were cooking up his food!
Look forward to the adventure you set up for next video! 🤩
Really beautiful shots!❤️
Crossing the Andes with Trent and Allie................and Beautiful Frank 😉❤️
Great video, well done. Liked the variety of your content and your editing is top notch. Thanks
Thanks Kevin!!
When you get to Cuzco, find a guide that can sell you coca leaves to chew on - which will help you with the altitude - cause if not you are not going to feel that well in Cuzco and going upto MachuPichu too. Its not that its as high up as 15.000 feet ... but its high up enough to feel weezy. Best of luck - heading into a an amazing experience. All the best!
LOL,. Cocoa leaves got me high. I never got used to the high altitude. At Machu Picchu I could do no more than five steps and I had to stop.
That was some amazing shots. Very beautiful. Y'all camping out with bonfire reminded me of my friends and I doing bonfires and enjoying each others company. Altitude can really mess a person up. Glad y'all are feeling much better. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful video, I love this channel! Stay safe out there ❤️🤗🤗🤗👍
I'm a pancake fanatic and those pancakes turned out so perfect. Lucky Diners Enjoy!
silver dollar pancakes always taste best too
SUCH an enjoyable episode on so many levels 🤘🏽
My God, Frank's meal looked delicious and the look in his eyes said it all.... "feed me now"!!! The sand dunes looked hot as hell !!! Those cops thought they could get a free drone, but he stood his ground like a badass!!! Safe travels, w.w.
Those other Vans, RVs etc are AWESOME for sure.
Friends in the desert AMIGOS EN EL DESIERTO
this is one of your best videos the views amazing just amazing
I love your videos with Father Guido Sarducci in them! LOL
Omg, I loved “Friends in the Desert”. I can’t wait to do things like that. That whole scene was majestic 🙇🏿♂️
Frank is having so much fun
Fabulous video ya'll .. Glad the drone survived it's crash
That was awesome I love Frank hes running in front of all you guys he looks behind make sure you OK beautiful ocean views just an awesome video thanks so much for sharing.
Happy trails
Allie liked that camping spot because it reminded her of Utah and home!!
My son was there! I have videos of him snow boarding down the dunes!
Another great episode. Thank you for talking me along for the ride!
Enjoyed video as always be safe on your travels and enjoy yourselves thanks for sharing ☺❤
Perfect timing!!!
Wow what a view from your camp site and that sun set is amazing, love the different foods you cook what a fantastic fire looks so warm and cozy, nothing better than a huge fire and barbecue with close friends xx
Very cool transition ar 3.28 and .3-30 ... subtle but there
Love your videos and love Frank; can't wait for the video of Macho Picho!!!!!
Frank running up the dune
Nazca has fascinated me since I was a kid! Really enjoying the show guys!
Such a beautiful place to be!! Awesome travel vlog!! Sorry about the drone!
One of my other favorite places on this Earth! The land of Pacha Mamma! Sacred Peru, so much to see💕🙏🏽
Great video! Loving all these new places & the comraderie :)
So much fun living vicariously through you guys stay safe
You guys all fit together so well, perfect match, Allies smile would brighten anyone's day :)
I liked seeing both you couples together!
I'm originally from South America (Colombia) and well acquainted with the entire Andean Region. I commend your courage because all my life doing a journey like yours was prohibited due to safety concerns. Maybe that's why you're blowing through these countries?
For what I see you had taken the rute Nazca-Cusco, so you have cross Ayacucho: Pampa Galeras, a National Reserve, and I, as a Peruvian, am very proud of it. It is between 3,800 and more of 5,000 meters high, the ecoregion is call “Puna” and is the habitat of 2 pretty animals “vicuñas” and “guanacos” both are camelids. 50 years ago Perú starter to take care of them because they where disappearing. The vicuñas has one of the best fibres in the world. They instructed the communities in the area and with the help of the “forest rangers” they took care of them. In the Incas time they were around 3 millions, after the spaniels came and independence time they were no more of 10,000. Know we can said they are more of 200,000 specimens. They live free and eat they favourite food: “ichu” is a plant that only grow at that high.
One more thing, after the terrorism we had, between 1980 and 1995, Pampa Galeras became call “Barbara D’Achille” in her honor. She was a Italian ecologist journalist who came to Perú with 20 years of age, knew her husband another Italian who work in the Amazonian region, and fell in love with Perú. She was kill in “Huancavelica” near Ayacucho in 1989, she was 46 years old, for “Sendero Luminoso” because she didn’t want to interview them.
Last thing, you can buy oxígen blisters at the drug stores in Cusco, drink a lot of water, drink “mate de Coca” Coca tea, chew (chacchar) coca leaves like tabaco (don’t eat then) take Sorochipin or same similar medicaments and of course take it very calm so your body can adjust to the lack of oxigen to help with the “soroche”.
Don’t use your drone in Machu Picchu or other archeological sites please. Bye and have good time.
Thank you for that info Rosario..so interesting. I have a vicuna scarf that is incredibly soft and warm.
@@GoodCybrations It is sad that Trent and Allie passed the vicunas and they did not know what they were. I bet that vicuna scarf was very expensive.
Watch this video: th-cam.com/video/3R2GsQMwTco/w-d-xo.html
What a cool museum..being a true believer that were not the only life forms in the universe. Trent you really are a good story teller. I enjoyed the way you talked about your climb in elevation, and how it effected both you and Allie. Safe travels 🙏
Okay but how have I never noticed Trent has his tongue pierced???
Beautiful country you are in ❤️❤️ def one of my faves.
Always enjoyable guys! Great music choices for editing; especially while climbing the sand dunes; epic! Hugs for you both & Frank too! xoxo
Whats the next best thing other then rolling with The Nomadic Movement..?.? Exactly what you guys are doing right now, Rolling with LEAW!! Im loving these vlogs with the 5 of you together!! so awesome..what an epic spot too, i would of stayed one more night their, so beautiful! Priceless fire lighting as well hahahahah. love you guys !
I had no idea there was a desert in South America and I am pretty knowledgeable about geography.
Also I’m very glad you found some more friends and traveling companions. Safety in numbers!
J Lewis The Atacama Desert (Spanish: Desierto de Atacama) is a desert plateau in South America covering a 1,000-km (600-mi) strip of land on the Pacific coast, west of the Andes mountains. The Atacama desert is one of the driest places in the world. Thé Atacama Desert occupies 105,000 km2.
Perfect video. Thsnk you
Outstanding guys thank you
Yaaaa! Another video!!! Never disappointed!!!!💕💕
This video is so beautiful
Guessing you are already aware, but be VERY careful with acclimating to such high altitudes. And you are obviously experiencing frequent change. Wishing you good health and safety!
This was my favorite video yet!
Yummy food, make sure you take some time off to avoid burnout..
I love your show. I'm a Navajo. I just had to let you know, we have seen civilization come and go for millenias. We the people have always been here, we have seen glacial periods come & go. This new civilization will also go, it's only 500 years olds and still haven't matured, it's just getting started. We know it'll most likely self destruct before they gain much traction. Only one thing you can depend on, the keepers of this land will be here when it's all over
Peru is such a beautiful and wonderful place. When you go to Machu Picchu I’m not sure how you guys will be getting there because I went via train from a small town a couple hours out and the terrain was rugged, not sure if the van would make it but I’m sure you guys know better. Also, when you get to Machu Picchu there is a bus you can take up (I’m pretty sure it’s very cheap) from the town of aquaqualientes and I would recommend that because after you see Machu Picchu the hike back to the town of aquaqualientes is beautiful, if that’s where you’ll be staying, it’s all down hill and awesome. Also, while your at Machu Picchu check out the sun gate hike- it’s about 1 mile straight uphill but the view is gorgeous and it begins the Inca trail. I’m sure you guys already have a plan but just some suggestions!
Those sand dunes look near verticle to climb!!! How are you not slipping down them?
i was so pumped on building my camper/mobile home someday . i hope i can travel my country soon 😊
Way to go Allie for recovering the drone, not getting caught up in a Sanvalanche, and beautiful authentic pancakes. With that being said... Girl, woman, female aanndd Boss! Let Allie drive, let Allie drive, let Allie drive. Chant, rant, rave... 🤣 Lol. Honestly, you two were made for each other and work so well together. Have a beautiful day in Peru!
Love watching your adventures. Thanks for sharing.
Wow ... another compelling slice of a world most of us will never experience in person ... thank you ... the new company of 'Four Musketeers' work so well together ... hope you can stay together until Patagonia. This is epic 'National Geographic' quality film-making ... and 'acclimated' is surely the Word of the Day.
