A small correction, but a major one: file system should be selected as NTFS if we choose GPT as partition scheme. FAT32 is undetected in newer BIOS i.e UEFI based laptops. Use NTFS. This worked for me.

I won’t deny that I was stuck at this step. I sadly have a MBR relic of a laptop and I forgot to switch it and until I watched this video I was lost and riddled with anxiety. Got deadlines to make.
This may not have been the most enjoyable video to watch but it was INFORMATIVE and I quickly understood where I messed up and even learned how to check for my computer’s Partition scheme easily. That got you a sub my boi good job and keep going.
This isn’t sarcasm it’s me being man enough to admit despite every petty excuse I could think of to not thank you and like/subscribe I had to admit I’d be searching for hours if not for this video.

Extremely intelligently made video, it worked for windows 10 as well, right from downloading ISO file to creating Bootable USB...just perfect. Additionally using USB to boot windows on another laptop could have been covered as well. Nevertheless thank you so much, you saved my time of running after repair guys and made me capable.
Can I use a .ESD file
GUID = Globally Unique ID
MBR = Master Boot Record
GPT = GUID Partition Table
As someone said below, GPT and NTFS will work together. Just format your USB as NTFS and then select GPT. Much less verbose if said like this. Good job!

do check your partition scheme . generally flash drives have MBR and also check your file system. a new flash drive which is unformatted will have FAT 32 system.

MBR can have four primary partitions; GPT can have 128.
MBR can support up to 2TB; GPT handles up to 9.4ZB.
GPT is more resilient to errors.
Your ability to use MBR or GPT will depend on which interface your system supports:
64-bit Windows 10, 8/8.1, 7, and Vista all require a UEFI-based system to boot from a GPT drive.
32-bit Windows 10 and 8/8.1 require a UEFI-based system to boot from a GPT drive.
32-bit Windows 7 and Vista cannot boot from a GPT drive.
All mentioned Windows versions can read from and write to a GPT drive.
In short: MBR is good for older operating systems; GPT is more suitable for modern computers.
