Desus was more professional, even when I watch the show on vice always felt like Desus probably getting along better with the production company and Meri was just kind of like that funny guy from the hood and when they moved to Showtime already saw that they were gonna break up because when they interviewed real people, Desus was the only one asking journalist questions
While, it looked like Mero was getting drunk and making off jokes that the guest didnt get if they werent from the area which they majority weren’t especially at showtime

Desus is a corporate puppet who will do whatever the suits tell him. Mero kept it original to the brand while desus switched up his personality from the podcast to the show to interviews.

Desus sounds really smart to some people while not actually saying much. Mero seemed to be more himself and connected with guest aka people who can help get more job in the industry and it seems to have been the better move

Desus really fumbled the bag. We all knew he was kinda a nerd and kinda lame but Mero gave him legitimacy. When you watched the show it was obvious mero was the catalyst and desus would jump on w/e mero was saying. Desus (& showtime) being selfish ruined a really good thing. Now Desus career is over and for what?
