Cherish every single moment. My doberman Rocco was like this with my son. Best buds from day 1 together. Sadly when my son turned 3, our pup was diagnosed with bone cancer and passed shortly after. That was 2 years ago and not a single day goes by where we don't remember Rocco. They are so so precious and not given enough time on this earth!

My cousin had a baby little over a year ago and they have three huskies. They looked after him from day 1, even taking shifts. And now that her son is mobile, they play all the time. He's part of the pack!

Yes, here in Africa we can tell by the sounds, there is a sound dogs make in the night if there's going to be a death, it's a mourning sound. I have always known this as a kid and it's always proven to be accurate. I remember when my grandmother was admitted in hospital, we would try to stop them making that sound because we knew what it meant, anyways, she did pass. I remember that because it was the first time I learned about it. Cats stay away from the person even if they liked or were close to you. They avoid you at all costs when you are about to pass. Unfortunately, these things are real whether one believes them or not, our ancestors noted these things and taught us to notice them as well. Long essay, but I just wanted to affirm your comment.

He got up to go to bed and she followed him into the bedroom jumped on the bed and stayed there until he died. Those two were very close. Had to get tranquilizers for her and my three cockers for two months!

My grandson Jack is almost 1yr. When my daughter was pregnant, our dog Dax (husky-American bulldog cross) knew. Once Jack was born, Dax was introduced to him before he was 1 week old. And Dax and Jack cannot get enough of each other!! In fact, Jack calls any dog ‘Dax’! Dax is a huge softie most of the time, but especially with Jack. From the getgo, it’s been teaching Jack to be gentle, to respect, to love, etc Dax and animals in general. When we have Jack and he’s sitting playing with something, Dax has one of his toys and is lying next to Jack, both playing independently, but next to each other!! Dax is an awesome fur-uncle!! xx

I watch your videos because they remind me of our Siberian's. We lost them to old age. Best family, they lived right with us. This video reminds me of our grandchildren and the boys. They played hide and seek in the piles of leaves in the fall. A wonderful time to live. Those years would be my heaven.
They could probably hear Mia's heartbeat, and Mum's smell changed with the pregnancy hormones. Plus, even dogs can see when such a noticeable change to her appearance takes place.

For those that are worried about "dog germs" from getting licked . Phil and Nikko think Amelia is like their puppy . And yes the parents should protect her from exposure without putting a strain on the bond established before she was born .

It’s one thing if your having someone watch the dog for a little bit to wait until the baby is a little stronger(as in like maybe a month or more old), but it’s a completely different thing if they just get rid of the dog because they don’t wanna see or figure out how the dog would react to the baby which sucks because pets can be some of the best guards in your child’s life, if you think they’d put they’re life on the line for you they’d do that and more for a child.
When I had our babies our dog Ben, he was a bull terrier would not leave our babies. The cat on the other didn't care a less or so I thought when my youngest was older my cat must have sneaked in her room I caught them curled up together sound asleep. I'll never know how long they've done it without been found out. I just can't understand people who give up their pet like that they have do my much love to give and some

I watch your videos because they remind me of our Siberian's. We lost them to old age. Best family, they lived right with us. This video reminds me of our grandchildren and the boys. They played hide and seek in the piles of leaves in the fall. A wonderful time to live. Those years would be my heaven.
They could probably hear Mia's heartbeat, and Mum's smell changed with the pregnancy hormones. Plus, even dogs can see when such a noticeable change to her appearance takes place.

Also the constancy, day in day out until the baby recognizes them . Which dog turns out to be her favorite? Even the cat, sitting by her side. Great fur babies. So much love in the home for baby. Phil and Nikko are so protective already, they are super cute, so precious and absolutely beautiful Malamutes. Your doing a great job of giving all your pets attention so they don't feel left out since the baby was born and how lovely Amelia is. I can watch these heart warming video's all day, full of love and feel good energy, what a wonderful human and fur family you are!
For those that are worried about "dog germs" from getting licked . Phil and Nikko think Amelia is like their puppy . And yes the parents should protect her from exposure without putting a strain on the bond established before she was born .

Agreed! I had a Doberman when I had my first baby. He would belly crawl every time when she was in the room until she was about 3 and more steady. He, Tyson, was the best dog, ever. 🥰🥰🥰

love how much this video shows introducing dogs to a new born can be such a beautiful thing. cant stand people who, when they get pregnant decide to get rid of their dog, discarding it like rubbish 🥺
Forgive me but whoever does that deserves a very special, the most special, a unique place in HELL!
It’s one thing if your having someone watch the dog for a little bit to wait until the baby is a little stronger(as in like maybe a month or more old), but it’s a completely different thing if they just get rid of the dog because they don’t wanna see or figure out how the dog would react to the baby which sucks because pets can be some of the best guards in your child’s life, if you think they’d put they’re life on the line for you they’d do that and more for a child.
I didn't even know that was a thing, that's fucking horrible.
When I had our babies our dog Ben, he was a bull terrier would not leave our babies. The cat on the other didn't care a less or so I thought when my youngest was older my cat must have sneaked in her room I caught them curled up together sound asleep. I'll never know how long they've done it without been found out. I just can't understand people who give up their pet like that they have do my much love to give and some
